I still get influenced by what people say to me and thus even change my path.. I still get confused while taking important decisions. So, I am quite unhappy about this nature of mine, I don't know why am I like this. Would I ever be that courageous to change myself for myself? It's a big question.

Hey my past personality 😃. It's as amazing a strength to think of others as it is to look for your happiness. Don't feel disappointed with yourself ever. The key to a trait alteration is to let it flow through you so don't push your limits. Start with little and not so important things maybe your ootd. If anyone says it isn't great dont let it get under your skin remember you chose it because YOU LIKED IT. Let your descisions bring you happiness and not stress. Waise bhi I have been where you're now, so you can discuss anytime ❤️.

@Bold: Definitely👍🏼

I am very careful with that word. People talk of being headstrong, as if it's a rewarding trait. But it's not.smiley36 The ability to be flexible and adaptable is what people put money on (be it the corporate world or otherwise). People that are too headstrong can come off as off-putting, stubborn and prideful - it goes hand in hand with pride. Sadly, it speaks to the lack of humility and the inability to take correction.

So yeah, I am careful with that one, unless I find a person's reasoning to be absolutely skewed or I feel a certain concept is skewed and don't want to buy into that just cause people are. Having said that, there are totally times, where we have to endorse what we believe in strongly and there are times, we gotta be flexible. But yeah, I am not headstrong for the sake of being headstrong or rebellious.

I've actually given an example on what angle of the trait I'm talking about. 😆 I feel on a certain level it's actually a rewarding trait to hold onto one's own dreams and happiness even if it's against the tide.

If you don’t care about others opinion then you wouldn’t care if they’re disappointed or not. So it doesn’t matter what they think.

Here others as in parents, family when we don't care even then we are upset with hurting somebody, or maybe it's just me. I'm not that detached from family too so might be thinking this way

At times yes. I wrote that too 😆 it's alright at times. Depends on the context and the reason. But I don't justify being that, all the way, all the time. Nah.

I get it but they emotionally blackmail and you’ve to understand they’re coming from their limited point of view or what they think is right. They want the best for you but you need to know what’s best for you and make your own decisions, maybe they’re right who knows but you have to figure that out. If they’re right I’ll go with them so you have to know what’s good for you.

Maybe you’ve to make your own decisions before you learn and find out for yourself.

I am a total pushover. I don't even have much brains, so I easily accept whatever others tell me to do.

On top of that, I am pretty over sensitive. I get stressed or start crying when I see someone else in pain or in problem.

It depends if it is for the health or welfare of my loved ones, then I will face and fight the world, but if my loved ones say PLEASE do not travel during times of Covid or do not accept whatever mission, then I will sit down and talk about it and their logic or their wishes wins, why? because I love them more than anything else in the world. Beside life has taught me that sometimes it pays to listen to the voices of experience.

So short answer - Not headstrong.

......I admire each and everyone who has this kind of headstrong attitude, personality...You all are gems❤️

We all seek others validation and approval, for us it’s deeply ingrained. It’s all about survival, it’s like if we don’t get approved we’ll die but it used to be the case in cave men time, doesn’t apply now but we haven’t evolved mentally and emotionally to let go of it.

I suggest “I need your love, is that true?” Book by byron katie. It can literally change you if you do the work.

Don’t be a slave to others opinions. You’re not what they think nor your worth depends on them approving or condemning you.
