I've made a couple of member's topic before this and I'm back with another again 😳 .

So Im a little curious and wanted to know about your notion of "headstrong attitude"? Are you someone who can give up on a dream or a happiness just because someone around you doesn't support it or isn't happy about it or are you someone to pursue your happiness/dream even in adverse?

This actually came from a bollywood thought actually like in old typical films if parents forced the hero or heroine used to give up on their love for parent's happiness. Now here I wanted to know not only love but also maybe a trip, a dream carrier, or anything small even. I'm not asking about adjusting I'm speaking about letting it go. Which side of the river does my virtual acquaintances belong to?

I am ridiculously headstrong to a fault. If I’m passionate about something and believe it is the right way, I’ll stand alone if I have to but I won’t budge from my stance.

I'm rebellious to the core, even my parents know that asking me not to do something will have the opposite effect. 😆

I am both

I want it my way but need other’s support too, if no one is with me I’ll still keep moving but slightly unhappy with loneliness feeling.

In real life it depends if I truly don’t see a good outcome anymore I can drop something

On this forum I’m a like a dog with a bone. An only 2 people can stop me. Then I’ll back off or back down 😆

I set my own goals and fulfill them. I don’t ask anyone’s opinion forget seeking validation.

You need to know why you want what you want and know what it’s gonna bring, why are you doing it? Why do you want it? What do you think you’ll get? If it’s set on false premise you’ll be disappointed.

Dropping something after realizing it’s not worth it is strength not weakness. Being stubborn is being stupid.

So I find these labels funny 😂

We need to be mature and use our intelligence and be wise.

The struggle is always within. If I can’t do something it’s because of something going on internally and I need to dig deep and heal that part for me to move forward otherwise it’s gonna create the same things.

It’s a vicious cycle and we are all junkies. Hope this makes sense 😂

I aspire to be that but sadly I am not till now...I am a confused soul, so each and everything (little to little things, I take other's opinion, from clothes to day to day plans to future plans, also I change my decisions according to people's mood, if not their orders or opinions..

......I admire each and everyone who has this kind of headstrong attitude, personality...You all are gems❤️

Stubborn to the core, but I'm fairly logical and practical. If I see your point, I'll back down.

In my family if someone wants to talk about headstrong behavior or wants to provide an example, my name is bound to come up. I'm notoriously headstrong.

I was not always this way. Till my early 20s I was the "good" one, soft spoken one, obedient one, well mannered one and all the other adjectives. But in my mid to late 20s when I chose a particular career path and chose not to marry till I accomplished my goals, I suddenly turned into a headstrong, stubborn, selfish, opportunistic person. 😛

I have one life to live and I want to do certain things in this lifetime. I don't care what label gets attached to me as long as I'm happy with the path I'm on.
