Well,she's very good in Guru,but as a principle,I will NOT watch an Aishwarya Rai film unless its directed by a good maverick director...Which means Jodha Akbar would be the last Ash film I'd be watching in a very long time to come...😭....

I wouldnt be surprised if it is a publicity stunt. Guru hasnt got a gr8 opening so this could just be a way of creating hype around the movie.....it's really sad tht medicore movies like KANK get record breaking openings 😡 and Guru gets only a 40-50% opening.....

buffie..i doubt whether amithabh bacchan really needs to announce his son's engagement as a publicity stunt,to make his son's film a hit..he has been around t00 long to know that
1)it will not make the film a hit
2)ruin his reputation for a film(abhishekh has so many manymore to do...this is not his one chance to fame
3)the movie over the weekend got tremendous support from the media..

my take is this..

he is very religious..till 14 january there is month long period which is inauspicious..he needs to get his son married before his mother teji bacchan dies..14 jan may be a good muhurath day(he is going on another piligrimage!!good lord)

the way the media is hounding them, he did it without anybody guessing..i saw so many distinguished guests arriving in big cars with gifts on their laps,i am sure they were given prior notice

lastly..amithabh has been escorting ash and abhi around in their car,took her to varanasi with his family..if people didnt get it then DUHHHH!


i hope people dont conveniently write off gurus success a result of AB's publicity stunt

i am neither a fan of ash nor abhi. though i liked him in Yuva. And i hvnt watched Guru too.
