Oh BTW they gave Ranveer the award not because he was good...How will they justify giving award to Alia for guest role without atleast throwing one at Ranveer.

We live in more enlighted times(Films wise) than Ekalavya days. People now have access to best of motion picture. These so called elite educated ...english speaking reviewers praising a measly movie like GB is not sold.

Anupama Chopra sometimes does not even know the meaning of some words , she said Joker movie is nilhistic ... its anything but that. A nilhist can never make Joker coz a true nilhist will be of view that it would be inconsequential and no point in it.

And she calls herself a movie crtic.

The whole argument about neoptism is so complex but saying there was no merit for Aish & Deepika and it's just their looks makes 0 sense. They were well known models, had to obviously pass a screen test and were outsiders with no real help so when they had their flop phases they can't call up so and so for help with no many others in their era did.

Jesus. Can they actually just admit for once that nepo kids dont have to work as hard as Miss World. They have to go through an actual competition.... where they are judged on their looks... but someone like Ishaan Khattar who is BUTT UGLY, mediocre actor can be scene on a big screen with absolutely zero prior work experience? How about Jhanvi? or Sonam? or Abhishek? or Kareena? Majority of them aren't even good looking.

Ash has worked harder than most nepo kids. Some of the nepo kids don't have the same fan base or even screen presence as Ash/Deepika, yet they are consistently given films on a platter.

For christ, just acknowledge that you have opportunities handed to you.

Also, ZOYA is an overrated director. her writing skills, her direction is average. NOTHING exceptional. Her Instagram reeks of pseudo intellectualism.

They will come up with one tortuous "analogy" after another but they will never take ownership of their preexisting network that gives them leverage over others who are trying to make it on their own. They like to enjoy the perks of their daddy's hard work but at the same time, they also want people to believe that it's all their own hard work and nothing else.

Don't know who they're kidding. No matter how many "analogies" they come up with, they are still like Kylie Jenner who claims to be a "self-made billionaire." 😆

How predictable. But there is some truth so better show how worse she is than them 😃

Nepotism exists-in every walk of life. We all push for our kids to succeed and the poor/servant maid/watchman's child has to fight million times harder for the same opportunities as even middle class children.

It is what it is. Bollywood is private industry so they can hire who they want-if movie not good it bombs and they lose their money. Nepo kids do bring a lot of free publicity-so that is there as for most movies just getting the publicity and people into theatres the first few days is the biggest battle.

But Zoya seems to be saying that nepotism is not a real fatcor-LOl! I mean Aiswarya is beautiful and Einstein is a genius and so that gave them advantage -Zoya's logic is weird. I never did like her movies. Her brother Farhan seems a bit more reasonable.

You can think it's fair, but the fact Abhishek B, Sonam K, Kareena K, etc. kept getting chances is not because of audience acceptance. It's IN SPITE OF audience rejection.

Even if it were, the point Zoya was making was not what you just said. It was that "oh, they only had their looks and no talent." The whole idea that nepotism is bad came from the reality the nepo kids with no looks AND no talent kept getting chances.

So yeah, dumb comment to make.
