I don't think so, if an Indian like SSR and many good actors face nepotism, then we can't say anything about Africans or East Asians.

Although some foreign actresses are hit, but than racism is also a big factor here.

Blacks are traditionally concentrated in cities, which is why they appear to be more in numbers than they actually are, which is around 12%.

What many are surprised to find is that the Latino population has increased to overtake blacks as the biggest majority!!

Indians usually like to live in ghettos and so they might get the impression that non-whites are greater in numbers than they actually are! 😊

Indians usually live on ghettos? Please name one city or town in the US where Indians are known to live in "ghettos"? Please, in any study that documents condition of minorities in the US, Indians are shown as one of the most professionally successful communities in the US.

Usually when you hear ghetto you might think impoverished. But there are 'prosperous' ghettos as well. E.g. the orthodox Jewish community.

I don't want to type more on my tiny phone keyboard now, but can provide more context to my comment should you so need.

Edit: You know what, I realized the most common use of ghetto is negative. I'm not sure what the right word is, but if you samjho my bhavnaein, I mean concentrated. Also, of course there are exceptions, but I was broadly speaking.

What world are you living in? 😆

Don't think so specially African origin.

Some of my all time favourite actors are from African origin , i will blindly watch any movie with Morgan Freeman and Denzel Washington just with their names but i am sure they would not have made it big in BW .

All the people who are saying African actors would not be a accepted because of dark skin are delusional.

Ajay Devgan, Nana Patekar, Akshay Kumar, they are all dark handsome men. Okay, except Nana. 😆

And let's not forget Rajnikanth. If he can be a superstar, then I don't see why a Denzel or an Idris would not be famous here.

...? The real one? Which part of the comment did you disagree with, do you think Asian women aren't considered beautiful?

Actors yeah but dunno about actresses... a very dark skinned actress most possibly won't be accepted. People are more lax about actors when it comes to appearance. Hint: look at the most successful heroes and heroines, theres many heroes who aren't goodlooking but there's hardly any heroine that made it to the top without being goodlooking. We live in a colorist world where dark skinned isn't considered as "goodlooking" so a dark skinned actor can make it to the top but not so sure about a dark skinned actress.
