Someone can be ambitious and still be a man child. In literally all his movies he's been playing the same childish coming of age character (which he's fantastic in btw and I cant imagine anyone else doing it). But he has shown no versatility in his characters whatsoever. Unlike his contemporaries like Shahid and Ranveer who just transform into totally different characters in each movie.

He was zombie in rajneeti 😆. And you call yourself a fan. That ends the discussion there.

And ambitious people are man childs. Bas. After this nothing is left to be said.

But on a different note everyone has their own opinion and right to express it. You can directly say that you prefer ranveer/shahid over him because that s an opinion and i absolutely respect that. No need to pretend to be "fan" and then go ahead and label his entire career worthless.

So are you suggesting that I cannot be Ranbir's fan and also appreciate other actors at the same time?

No you said all he has done are man child roles you said that he was "zombie" in the only "serious" character he has done you call yourself a fan and then deem his entire career worthless in the very same sentence. Exactly what qualities do you like in him to be a fan.

I appreciate a lot of good actors apart from him. But i don't go around being part of bhed chal and deeming his entire career worthless filled with man child character because that cannot be any farther from reality

As I said you can say it directly that you don't find him to be much of an actor like ranveer or Shahid because that is an opinion and i respect that. . There is no need to pretend to be a fan. Because no fan hell no neutral person will deem his performance in rajneeti as "zombie". I am sure that many feel that it was not a very brilliant performance many of his own fans think that he was better in barfi in other movie than rajneeti but "zombie" nope no fan of his will say that not even a neutral person will say that he was"zombie" in rajneeti.

And about man child and coming of age i don't see how barfi fits in either of this category. He was immature why because he refused to follow socially acceptable norms for a dumb and deaf person. Because he did he was cheerful person and did not let his disability to affect the way he looks at life

What??? The person says that he has played nothing but all man child characters and that he was zombie in the only serious role he has done and that ranveer and Shahid are better actor. So exactly what does he/she like in ranbir more than the other two to be his fan ????

If i think that certain actor is better than the other then whose will i be??? The actor i think is good at what he does or someone who is not that good?? Logic right.

Well... got to give Ranbir credit for at least knowing when it's appropriate to speak. He rightly hasn't said anything in this whole mess.

KJo thought he'd get ahead of all of them by making that condolence post and soon found public was not as stupid as he believed. He, too, is lying low.

It's only Alia and her family still acting as though nothing of importance happened. if I were her PR, I'd advice her to keep her head low and let this storm blow over. Because it will inevitably pass, and public's attention will move on to other things. What she doesn't need is to give the audience hateful things to remember about her.

That's what you are seeing in this thread. No offense intended , just calling out the BS mindset. Hope you dont mind. 😛

Ranbir has only played Man Child roles in every movie. Literally. You can debate all you want, but he's an average actor with average looks who hasn't done anything remotely worthy of attention. His kapoor last name and his legacy has kept him afloat. He's not talented.

He hasn't said anything because he benefits from not speaking and benefits from nepotism.

I am his fan because I love the movies that he did like Yjhd, Barfi, WUS, Rocket Singh etc and I watch them over and over.

I haven't made anything up, hasn't Ranbir only played a serious character in only Roy & Rajneeti in the past 13 years? Even in Sanju he played the "bechara child at heart" guy throughout the movie and Barfi too.

I don't understand why just because I'm Ranbir's fan doesn't mean I can't praise Ranveer or Shahid? Their characters have always been very unique and different and that versatility Ranbir hasn't shown at all since his debut 13 years ago.
