I haven't made anything up, hasn't Ranbir only played a serious character in only Roy & Rajneeti in the past 13 years? Even in Sanju he played the "bechara child at heart" guy throughout the movie and Barfi too.

I don't understand why just because I'm Ranbir's fan doesn't mean I can't praise Ranveer or Shahid? Their characters have always been very unique and different and that versatility Ranbir hasn't shown at all since his debut 13 years ago.

No none of his character apart from probably jordan is man child. Barfi was not. Prem was not. Rocket singh a businessman at heart can never be bechara child at heart. Rajneeti s samar was not. Prem was mature enough to respect and appreciate the choice that jenny made he actively tried to reunite her with the man she loved an immature man can never to that. The performance he gave in rajneeti was one of the best performance an actor can give. Neither shahid nor ranveer can play samar or barfi or even jordon. Ranveer tried to play a menacing character with khilji and failed miserably. Ranbir was spine chillingly beautiful in rajneeti. How versatile he is can be gauged from a simple fact that jow different Samar barfi bunny jordon prem and happy singh are as characters. He aced in all of them. To not see any difference in them is just blindly following bhed chal that people on IF generally follow in regards to him.

About liking an actor qs I said an opinion you i find vicky a very nice actor. But i find ranbir better than vicky and any other gen next actors. That's why i am his fan.

If i say that i like actor b but i like actor A more think he is more versatile so exactly whose fan am i ???

A language is a language, medium of communication. To know another language is to open your mind to another culture, another people, another treasure trove of literature.

In the U.S, in Europe, in China, in Latin America, in Africa - knowing a language other than the one you were born into is considered a very good thing.

Only in India/Bollywood have I seen such disdain for knowing a language, that, too, the one you were born into. 😆

And the English these people speak! By God, hardly anyone can string together an intelligible sentence.

Then, they purport to want to work in the HINDI film industry. Now, you don't necessarily need to know the language to act, but these are supposedly peeps who plotted from the womb how to be an actor! You'd think they'd at least take the trouble to learn that one language.😆 Either they're too dumb to or are arrogant enough to believe the audience will buy their crap regardless.

also what is there to brag about not knowing a language you hear around you.. on TV/school etc..doesn't that imply they're not very smart?

when i was studying at uni, a lot of overseas students from south asia would brag about shiz like "i dont even know how to boil an egg" "i can't even make a cup of tea" "how do you heat this cold soup?"...

If anyone plans to work in any sector dealing with people, then should have at-least knowledge of local language of the region.

He never disrespected money. He did say a couple of times that he doesn't have too much but has enough to maintain a proper survival. Ofcourse he liked becoming the character , they are paying you in crores , then obviously you need to be very good at the craft or atleast try hard to be.
