Whereas Sushant was self-admittedly an introvert. Some people just don't have it in them to butter the right side of bread, create rapport with everyone, etc. and it hurts them professionally. This world rewards extroverts far more than people like him.

Though... from the videos I've watched of Sushant, he seems fairly easy to get along with despite being introverted, it's not even noticeable. Which leads to me believe that these people were just insecure of him overtaking their curated position in b'wood.

The thing it takes alot of effort to keep up with that circle, and I dont think sushant had the personality to do that, yes he initially tried as we saw him at several parties and he was clicked with the biggest bollywood stars, but he is an introvert and chooses to spend more time at home or talking about physics and astronomy. Most people in the bollywood circle are quite superficial and dont talk about those things, so I guess he wasnt able to make those strong ties

Yes Ranveer is naturally a very social guy, he has good people skills, but he had to work hard to make people such as kjo like him, many people looked down on him and he managed to change their perceptions

Ranveer is talented, I'll admit, along with his super hyper personality, and I'm sure he's put in the work by at least identifying the ones he needs to impress.

While the likes of Alia or Ranbir were busy f-cking anything that moves, sniffing coke or getting shitfaced in some private boat party, Sushant was staring at moons and stars from his telescope. How in the world can those two even have anything in common to talk about. Poor guy!

According to the contract, Sushant Singh Rajput had a three-movie deal with Yash Raj Films. He was expected to get ₹30 lakhs for the first film and ₹60 lakh for the second film if the first movie proved to be a hit. If the first film did not do well, then he would be paid ₹30 lakh for the second. If both films emerged as hits, he would get ₹1 Crore for the third film. If the first film was hit and the second film flopped, he would be paid ₹30 lakh for the third. If the first movie flopped and second did well, he would get ₹60 lakh for the third. The reports further added that the Yashraj contract mentioned it would be YRF who will decide if a film is either a hit or a flop.

30 lakhs and 60 lakhs are such low amounts for a male lead role where people like ARK charge 4 crores per movie. 🤢

And how come YRF decides which films are hits or flops? This just invalidates the entire debate on "audience love" and how all these pedigree kids are hits because of "audience." Doesn't seem like it from this article.

Around 50 lakhs actually sounds reasonable for a first film under a big banner. No one is getting paid 4cr for their first film. You get that kind of money when you have some success behind you.

It's still a very discouraging amount compared to his "contemporaries." I read somewhere that Ranveer was paid 10 crores to enter bollywood through BBB, which was a YRF banner.

Ranveer was not paid 10 crores, the rumour was that his daddy paid 10 crores to yrf to launched him😆

Sushant was the lowest paid since the day he died. He had hits but still was getting paid same amount as flop actors

Interesting ... that's amazing how he advertised himself as a self made outsider. 🤔

Clearly it isn't an even playing field. Even useless alia got paid 10 crores for Raazi while Kaushal got 4-5 crores. I wonder how much Sushant got paid for Dhoni and after it turned out to be a blockbuster. I bet it still wasn't anywhere close to the pedigree kids who churn out flops after flops but still stay relevant somehow.
