I would suggest that all of you, irrespective of political alignment, should speak out against the rapid clearances granted to deforestation projects, particularly in North-Eastern corridors. These kind of incidents will be common in areas where forests are adjoining farms/residential colonies and is the inevitable consequence of human encroachment in wildlife habitats. Residents will inevitably put up fences and other harmful barriers that end up hurting local flora and fauna. Instead of turning this into a communal issue, state-based issue, humanity sucks issue, fake news issue, focus on the larger picture. Such incidents are unlikely to happen if we regulate development and commercial activities next to wildlife areas instead of giving free-for-all to people to do what they wish.
