they sell propaganda in every movie. They will simply ruin things for mytho lovers. I am happy with animated movies. budget or scale is one thing but BW loves to wrongly present anything and everything about Hinduism. It's better they stay away from such movies.

1. It needs a very high budget.. to make such good effort ...Bollywood rarely goes for that high budget

2. People have already seen on TV

3. It would be religion based obviously.. so much of risks from public of any religious community, community leaders, politicians, Law n all

4. Bollywood actors & actresses have played many roles that totally bold n opposite to what they would be portraying in these movies.. people may not follow their image to watch as much as Ramayana TV serial got audience.

5. Time consuming for everyone to make it happen

Mythology and God ,Religion are sensitive topics especially in India. They can't show anything just like that, that need proper research, they are likely to create controversies. Plus, they need really good actors to portray the roles. It requires high budget too. And already different versions are there on TV. So, they might not be interested or they don't want to take risk.

Religion and god is a sensitive topic in any country.... Try making a movie with different take on any religion and some feathers will be ruffled, no matter which country it is....

Pinpointing at only India is wrong....

I don't know about any country because I live in India and I haven't visited any other country yet so I know the situation here with more awareness . So I am not pin pointing at India. , I would tell about a country where I don't only hear in news but also have seen this in my surroundings. So wrong will be for me to pin point at other country if I don't know about them fully or I don't live there. Also, when it comes to religion and God, India is the most diverse country so obviously, in India conflict tends to happen more.

So ,I don't find my statement wrong by any means. Thank you 😊

Nobody in Bollywood seems qualified enough. Then there's a brigade that will oppose it in the name of secularism. Ramanand Sagar had to struggle like hell to make Ramayana. Hail secularism! 😅

Also, looking at what that Tewary Gawari shithead did to Mahabharat in his trashy Starbharat casting some of the worst actors ever, I've become highly sceptical.

P.S. Dharma/Itihasa isn't religion. 🙄😑

That's right.

But, that lamentable 2013 version of Mahabharat on star plus had neither research nor acting. Most people don't even know how awfully distorted and unbearable it was.

They can show anything and even get away with it.
