Please stop making your old age assumptions about us. Thank you

I would be really interested to know how many % of people in rural areas use netflix/amazon. What is the source of your claim?

They can release their films in theaters and OTT on the same day if they are concerned about the single screen rural area audience. Multiplex ka business khatam ab se.

And what is the source of people's claim that rural area's people have no access at all? Stop making generalised claims. And post article of selective areas where people r living in dark ages to show whole rural india is backward People here use all these apps. Internet is not exclusive to u people only.

I know u think whole rural area india is backward. So keep going with that mentality!!!!!

My intention wasn't to offend anyone, but I mean places where people's only source of entertainment comes from single screen theatres and they don't have access to Netflix or Amazon Prime. Just b/c you do that's great, but I'm sure not everyone has the same access.

Internet is accessible to most rural areas. People use all these apps. You don't live in rural area. I do. When u make a generalised claim, then it offensive.

People use all these apps like any city people. You guys need to expand your horizon. Internet is not exclusive to you only

AFAIK, there are 1 crore (10 million) Amazon prime subscribers while 20 lakh (2 million) Netflix subscribers in India.

India's population is about 130 crore . So I guess about 1% of India's population has Amazon and Netflix subscriptions. To be exact it is 0.92%.

If a producer is refusing to celebrate the success of a film he is part of then it is correct of Amitabh Baachchan to protest against it.

How many are hotstar subscribers... Hotstar has the maximum reach esp bec of regional content...
