I asked you one direct question since you claimed most people in rural India use Netflix/Prime.

You rejected RunParoRun's hypothesis that rural India's absorption of OTT platforms is lower than that of urban India's, which sounds logical and obvious. So I thought you had some objective numbers to back your claim. But I guess not!

Of course you may be able to access it in rural India, exceptions always exist!

And where did this rural India being backward come from lol. I never said that. So I wonder what mentality are you alluding to. 😆

India's population is about 130 crore . So I guess about 1% of India's population has Amazon and Netflix subscriptions. To be exact it is 0.92%.

Netflix has 4 million subscribers in India. Prime had 10 million last year. It would have increased further.

Also if you have a Netflix/Prime account, it can be used by up to 10 people. Very few college going kids have their own accounts. They just share User ID and password and watch.

So it's safe to multiply the numbers by 5 to arrive at realistic figures.

1.4 crore * 5 would give us 7 crore. That's more than than the footfalls of the biggest Bollywood film in recent history.
