Aishwarya is better actress but only excels in traditional roles. She is best at sad woman, innocent woman type role. Comedy is not her genre. Her beauty is too overpowering that nobody thinks of anything else except looking at her face. She suffers from a not so blessed voice also. It sometimes hit the ear but overall she is exemplary actress for certain genre like period and historical genre and dramas. Esp. Period films are completely her genre.

Deepika is below average actress. Her comic timing is far better than Aishwarya and her voice is better that Ash's but she is poor at dancing and have a blank face when giving dialogue. She looks too stiffs for period film and looks like a model in period films. She is beautiful with makeup but without makeup she is just an ordinary looking. She needs heavy makeup to look very beautiful and also has a shadow of Aishwarya from certain angles.

Deepika has less good works in her 'almost' finished career. Aishwarya had better filmography.

Aishwarya's Tamil films are all considered iconic. Iruvar was a cult classic Mani Ratnam film. Shankar's Jeans is still the most stylish Tamil film having a separate fan base of its own, Kandukondain Kandukondain was a Tamil classic family film, Raavanan was a cult film of Tamil cinema. Endhiran was an iconic sci-fi film.

Her Hindi career really started with Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam which was her turning point. This film was an instant classic film. Another gem was Taal which was the musical milestone of late 90's era.

Josh was the only film where her comic timing was decent. This film is also a cult 'Christian drama' film.

Devdas was the film which made her global star. It was a cult classic period film. Bollywood never witnessed such a grand film post Mughal-E-Azam.

Her career suffered for 3 years due to SRK not wanting to work with her. She lost a major film, Veer-Zaara due to him.

Her film Guru helped her to regain her lost position. Then Jodhaa Akbar happened. This film brought her 'Devdas' days back. She was missing in SLB type film. Ashutosh gifted her this film. Audience went back to SLB's Aishwarya with this film.

Later she did Tamil film Ravaanan and its hindi version Raavan. Raavanan was a very well made film because of right casting but Hindi Raavan turned out dud.

SLB's artsy film Guzaarish was his second Khamoshi. Both films were critically successful but flopped. Guzaarish was Aishwarya's last film of her first innings or 'heroine' innings. Jazbaa, Sarbjit are just her timepass films. Her real comeback will be in the historical film 'Ponniyin Selvan'.

Deepika's career has three four good films. Her best films are Chennai Express, Cocktail, YJHD and Ram-Leela.

Bajirao Mastani she was given raw deal in titular role, In Padmavaat she looked the worst and was a miscast.

Her career is almost finished. She tries to be in news by draupadi film rumor which will never happen.

I like Deepika...

But Aishwarya is a DREAM.. Divine...

Deepika can never be compared with Aishwarya.

And there's nothing remotely great in playing a dukhe aatma bhoot in mohabbatein 🤣

I rather take an aatma than a actress with dead eyes, a flat chest and a monotone voice

I love both and both are queens, but Aish is the 1st actress I've admired so I chose her.

I take Aish 1000 x times over Deepika - especially in historical movies. She at least even makes crying bearable to look.

Aish is abit better especially in SLB films Aish is good.
