Even in ghost Stories she couldn't emote at all.. when she is giving scared expression her face dint move at all... n she has 7 movie to release bt still ppl bash Ananya n Sara more who is not getting movies after movie n poor Alu is bashed n name called evn though she got her act right after SOTY.. She is not terrible. But she is not good either.

But, if she works with directors who derive the best from her...she will be seen as good. Kind of like alia...who through good films and characters is seen as better than she really is.

None of the actresses from dharma are exceptionally talented. imo. theres so much out there.

I dont think screaming, crying, kicking in Alia's case is acting. She literally acts the same in all her films. Lacks versatility but claims it b.c all her films have been critically acclamined/high in content with strong characters.

There's usually at least something to appreciate even in below par performances but ugh, I couldn't find anything worth appreciating about her apart from her looking beautiful in some places ._. I'm sorry but it's annoying that she is getting so many opportunities over actually talented actors when she clearly fails at conveying emotions (even in the new Ghost Stories promo). In this one her eyes looked dead, and she looked totally wooden beside Ishaan who was giving his all and emoting so endearingly. Couldn't even see any potential in her tbh

I actually liked the film even though it had its differences from the beautifully-made Sairat, and thought it could have had far more impact had Janhvi actually acted -.-

She's kinda pretty and cute..but acting is so NOT her forte.

She's lucky to be a Kapoor and have her dad pushing her and the fans of Sri -or generally anyone that bemoans Sri's untimely death- sustaining her and viewing her through rose-tinted glasses.

Considering their first movie, she and Ishaan both acted well and the movie also generated good profits, so everything went well with the movie.

I saw it in a theater and liked it except for movie end that left me feeling unsatisfied with the story, but still it was telling us the reality about honor killings.

She is a bad bad actress. I am so sad she gets all these offers just by being good ally with KJo, whereas the clear better option Sara has very limited things on her plate.

Ananya is 100 times better than Jhanvi, so I am hoping between these 2 KJoBots, at least the better one gets what she deserves.
