tbh original Don was unbearable. SRK's Don was fast paced and entertaining.Don2 even better. SRK looked classy .
exactly...he looked so classy and suave in DON 2...and BTW it was a Don's role who was cunning and classy and a mastermind criminal....pehelwan ka role nahi tha jo ki he had to be lamba chauda and heavy😆..even Big B was not like a pehelwan...he was just tall...lol....and he too looked very classy...the only difference was that DON (SRK) was fast and sleek.....and the entry scene in DON 2 is one of the best ones in BW..

and oh damn...this scene
There is no comparison at all. If the original was 'Aam' then the remake was 'chusa hua aam'.
And I am assuming who say the remake was fast-paced have not seen the original. Because slowness is the first issue /negative that people have with all Farhan Akhtar directorials, Don included. It is his style, and this sensibility is what alienates him from the masses.

I think Don 2 was much better in terms of pacing than Don (2006). The only problem was that they dumbed down the story too much. Don in an Interpol uniform and Roma's "feelings" towards Don at the end was ridiculous to watch.
SRK ka Don was Ramjane in suit😆

Or a sophisticated Mannu Dada 😆.
Unbiased opinion Amitabh Bachchan don was far superior. Amitabh in his portrayal of an underworld don, carried the role with finesse and panache.SRK's was a very poor portrayal.
the problem with Srk is that he equals "evil/menacing" with "arrogance" so as a neutral movie watchers, you just can't see beyond the "Srk mannerism/world, read arrogance".. you never root/ find it charming or any feeling.. Raees ho ya Don, ya Zero they are all unbearably all-knowing but good for nothing..
AB was better. But as a Film I like SRK's don don2 .
