These special set of awards were presented at IIFA Rocks 2019 by the very stunning Radhika Apte and the charming Ali Fazal.
The winners of the 20th IIFA Technical Awards are as follows:
Best Cinematography: Sudeep Chatterjee ISC for Padmaavat
Every frame of Padmaavat looked no less than a painting and the credit and the award for the Best Cinematography goes to Sudeep Chatterjee ISC.

Best Screenplay: Sriram Raghavan, Arijit Biswas, Pooja Ladha Surti, Yogesh Chandekar and Hemanth Rao for Andhadhun
Andhadhun left the audience and the jury stunned in equal measures. Is it any surprise that this ‘A Team’ of writers bagged the award for the Best Screenplay?

Best Dialogues: Akshat Ghildial for Badhaai Ho
Badhai Ho Akshat Ghidial, aapke dialogues ne dil aur award dono jeet liya!

Best Editing: Pooja Ladha Surti for Andhadhun
Apart from writing the film, Pooja Ladha Surti also edited Andhadhun to give it the just the right impact!

Best Choreography: Kruti Mahesh Midya and Jyothi Tommaar for Ghoomar (Padmaavat)
The team behind Deepika Padukone’s breath-taking performance on Ghoomar in Padmaavat deserved an award! And they got it.

Best Sound Design: Kunal Sharma for Tumbbad
Tumbbad deserves more credit than it received. The award for the Best Sound Design went to Kunal Sharma for the film.

Best Sound Mixing: Ajay Kumar P.B (Post House) for Andhadhun
Andhadhun’s winning spree continued with the award for the Best Sound Mixing to Ajay Kumar P.B (Post House) for Andhadhun.

Best Background Score: Daniel B. George for Andhadhun
Andhadhun excelled in the technical department, truly making it the film that it was. One of the most important being it’s excellent background score by Daniel B. George.

Best Special Effects (Visuals): Filmgate Films AB for Tumbbad
Another victory for Tumbbad was the Best Special Effects (Visuals) award to Filmgate Films AB. Truly well deserved!
