This is the IIFA homecoming night so maybe more people will show up on the actual awards night. I saw the lineup and the only A-Listers performing are Bhai and Kat 😕(as far as I can remember).

Ooo I didn't know Vicky and Ranveer are performing too. That makes it slightly better(I remember seeing the other ones you listed).

Third class awards ke liye sab third class celebrities. Ameesha, rautela type log toh 1000-1500 mein hi maan gaye honge.

These special set of awards were presented at IIFA Rocks 2019 by the very stunning Radhika Apte and the charming Ali Fazal.

The winners of the 20th IIFA Technical Awards are as follows:

Best Cinematography: Sudeep Chatterjee ISC for Padmaavat

Every frame of Padmaavat looked no less than a painting and the credit and the award for the Best Cinematography goes to Sudeep Chatterjee ISC.

Best Screenplay: Sriram Raghavan, Arijit Biswas, Pooja Ladha Surti, Yogesh Chandekar and Hemanth Rao for Andhadhun

Andhadhun left the audience and the jury stunned in equal measures. Is it any surprise that this ‘A Team’ of writers bagged the award for the Best Screenplay?

Best Dialogues: Akshat Ghildial for Badhaai Ho

Badhai Ho Akshat Ghidial, aapke dialogues ne dil aur award dono jeet liya!

Best Editing: Pooja Ladha Surti for Andhadhun

Apart from writing the film, Pooja Ladha Surti also edited Andhadhun to give it the just the right impact!

Best Choreography: Kruti Mahesh Midya and Jyothi Tommaar for Ghoomar (Padmaavat)

The team behind Deepika Padukone’s breath-taking performance on Ghoomar in Padmaavat deserved an award! And they got it.

Best Sound Design: Kunal Sharma for Tumbbad

Tumbbad deserves more credit than it received. The award for the Best Sound Design went to Kunal Sharma for the film.

Best Sound Mixing: Ajay Kumar P.B (Post House) for Andhadhun

Andhadhun’s winning spree continued with the award for the Best Sound Mixing to Ajay Kumar P.B (Post House) for Andhadhun.

Best Background Score: Daniel B. George for Andhadhun

Andhadhun excelled in the technical department, truly making it the film that it was. One of the most important being it’s excellent background score by Daniel B. George.

Best Special Effects (Visuals): Filmgate Films AB for Tumbbad

Another victory for Tumbbad was the Best Special Effects (Visuals) award to Filmgate Films AB. Truly well deserved!

A big congratulations to all the winners! These films wouldn’t be as magical without your splendid contributions.

This is the same list that performs at literally every event. So boring!

Vicky doesn't even have any songs to dance to so he will show up to dance to other people's songs. At Filmfare, it was for Amitabh.

Madhuri has nothing new to dance to either but is always there. You might as well get another older actress so at least it looks different - there are so many options - Karishma, Kajol, Rani.. so many choices but always stuck with Madhuri.

Swap out Ranveer with Ranbir - he hardly performs so at least we won't have to hear the same wannabe rapping and Aankh Mare for the 100th time.

Madhuri will be doing a Saroj tribute medley (including Sri's song). Looking at the list of performers, she is the least of that event's problems. LOL

Poor Award Organizers Award Kharidne Waley bhi semi retired hain . 😂😂😂😂

Very happy with those wins. Truly excellent work in Cinematography, Choreography, Screenplay etc.

Excited to see Sara Ali Khan perform.

I hope Madhuri Dixit does Tabaah Ho Gaye.
