Srk deserved the award for Baazigar man he was just good as Sanjay Dutt in khalnayak, 2 different roles acted brilliantly by both actors. He was brilliant in the romantic role in DDLG, he was natural but I loved Aami also in rangeela which was my favourite role of that year along govinda in coolie number 1. He didn’t deserve for KKH or DTPH because he was repeating the same characters from DDLG, 1997 should of been Sunny Deol for Border or Anil Kapoor for Judaai. 1998 Ajay deserved for zakhm. 2002 was Ajay Devgan year with multiple of legendary performances, Company, legend of Bhagat singh and deewanghi.

National awards and filmfare awards are different

National awards dont take popularity into consideration while filmfare awards nominate the best actors of the whole year and then take their popularity biometre

Ajay won NA for Zakham, but not filmfare

According to all the attributes filmfare awards have, all awards to SRK is well deserve

Lamhe flopped but best actress, director was given by filmfare.

Where is the option of "Each and every award"? C'mon, be fair to SRK haters.

Can't you read..the option is there. And how about being fair to SRK fans and adding a "he deserved them all" option

Those are just best actor awards. SRK has won other awards as well, that's why I said "each and every award".

No, i remember very clearly that he stopped attending after Rangeela.

Over a decade and a half ago, Aamir Khan was one of the first few actors who spoke up against the practice.

As the story goes, he was asked to perform at the Filmfare Awards in 1996, the same year he was nominated for his breakthrough role in the Ram Gopal Verma-directed, ‘Rangeela’.

However, when he turned down the offer, he also inadvertently turned down the chance of bagging an award for Best Actor for the same film, or so he was quoted as saying in an interview with Filmfare’s rival publication, Screen.

The award ultimately went to Shah Rukh Khan who performed at the awards that year.

Ironically, it was the same year that Shah Rukh tendered an apology on stage for admitting he tried to bribe his way into winning the Best Actor trophy.

Anyways, a disgruntled Aamir has refused to attend any award function ever since.

Check another article:

Did you know Shah Rukh Khan is the reason why Aamir stopped going to awards function?

My friend, your statement/info is not true at all.

Infect Aamir was the one who consistently attended commercial awards from his debut until 1995 each year with so much enthusiasm.

Please watch Filmfare awards 1994 you will like his dance performance on song ghoonghat ki adh say...

It was only after 1995 when I read in multiple magazines that Aamir decided not to attend awards anymore as he comes to know about the favors been given to a certain actor unfairly rewarding him with awards mainly due to his ultra sharp pr, great repute with jury organizers & consistent lobbying.

Sunny & Ajay followed Aamir's decision shortly.
