But Preeti showed agency later on by not going back to him and trying to make it on her own. When the film ended I saw them as equals.

Did you even watch the film? If you haven't, how are you sure it isn't promoting misogyny and general obnoxious behaviour? It is.

How many times have we already seen this in Indian tv shows and Bwood already.

Can we move on from these same plots, sometimes I feel like bwood is only regressing and going back to the 80s storylines.

Absolutely sick to know men cheered at such scenes, exactly why such films should not be made.

They shouldn't have given him a happy ending and the movie would've been perfect. I can see why people think it sends out a wrong message. Worth watching still!
