The problem is Kabir singh movie glorified, celebrated misogyny, violence, drugs, alcohol, domination as appealing things to do. If they showed punishment and suffering to the character Kabir then may be some damage control. Portraying toxic masculinity as story is fair enough but not showing that it is wrong and condemnable is where the movie went wrong & gives misguiding message.
Not everyone has the maturity or ability to distinguish the real from unreal. There are guys who take the movie script as real and something that can be done. They take inspiration from it , expecting the same result. Guys emulate movies and Eve tease girls, pull their clothes, try to kiss them , touch body etc. All these are horrifying ordeals for the girl. But the guy thinks in the movie the girl enjoyed so she too must be.
That's the reason there is censorship and certain content is prohibited.
Till today you have hard core fans who get inspired and imitate whatever their favourite actor does. This is risky business. Somewhere certain things need to stop.
