Yeah, the songs were shot beautifully. The sets had an old world charm, forgot to mention the art direction, that was great as well, reminded me of Dibakar's Byomkesh. Honestly I'm someone who doesn't understand how chemistry works out between the leads usually but in films like these you realise how much of it is just the acting part. With Sai Pallavi though, it feels like the Telugu industry has hit the jackpot, I don't remember the last time an actress keeps elevating the movie by leaps and bounds as her. ⭐️
Oh yeah, Jersey was a great film, as well. There was a point when I was debating what the characters should or should not have done but the beauty of a good film is it makes you feel intensely for the character's motivations and actions even if you aren't in complete agreement with them. Loved that film and I think it is easily one of the best Telugu films in recent times.
i think chemistry is good writing, acting, direction, some actors like amitabh are just awkward in romantic scenes, also maybe more easy, "non-method" actors who are not too absorbed or focussed on their own performance carry it better as you need to look immersed in the opposite person, say a srk vs a kamal
yeah, byomkesh, udham also had good design, goes to show that good aesthetics are more important than budget
yes, true, sai pallavi also found a good mentor in shekhar kammula, she says so, who let her be herself but gave roles which were solid but commercial hits and she took off from there with confidence
well put about jersey
