She was her bcos she has a short film. I don't know the backstory of how it went to Cannes. But she's an ambitious woman which Shilpa never was. U r doing the samething which Jithesh or Hina herself did in the past. I think u got ur ans. U go there only if u have a brand that sends u or a film to promote.

Just did a google search and Hina Khan is there to launch the first look of the film she stars in. No Indian film is being at Cannes this year nor are there any Indian talents in the jury. So yeah this is as basic as that Jackie Bhagnani film running for the Oscars which was nothing but just a mere registration. The makers have just hyped it up as usual to make it look like the film is being screened there. 😆
