Actually HANK as Golden said is played much much more. Thank fully the volume has decreases, otherwise there was a time when Star Plus used to play only K3G&Singham, SetMax mai sirf Sooravanysm aur Zee mai HANK, MPK aur HSSH ka threesome chalta rehta tha lol. [BR] Dil Wale Dulhania Le Jayenge is super popular but it is also hyped more while HANK is as popular, but it is not rubbed into our faces even though it was nearly two times bigger hit than DDLJ j theaters and much more successful in television reruns too.

Yeah thats what I was thinking. Just 35 screens and it made 72.4 crores. DDLJ was released in 180 screens and made 53.4 crores.

^ HAHK holds or used to hold the record of highest footfalls for a hindi cinema. It was a much much bigger domestic hit than DDLJ. Dilwale is more popular and did well abroad.

HANK made 72+ crores domestic(worldwide:127 crores) in 1994, while DDLJ made 53.31 domestic (while worldwide 103). [BR] But the catch is HANK had over 7.39 crores footfalls, while DDLJ had 4.79.
