Aamir Khan dropped Junaid From Forrest Gump remake

Last year a number of starkids got launched in Bollywood. This year also some of them are expected to get launched. Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan could also become one of them but as he failed to meet his father Aamir Khan aka Mr. Perfectionist’s standards he lost the chance.

Some inside sources of Aamir Khan have revealed that Aamir Khan is planning to make a remake Laal Singh Chaddha on Forrest Gump. And he planned to cast his son Junaid in it. For that, Junaid also underwent training. Some scenes of the film were also shot on him. But his father Aamir Khan was not satisfied with his performance. According to him, Junaid didn’t match his expectations.Hence, he made Junaid drop out the film and decided to become the lead himself.

How credible is Pagal parrot?? recently spotboye also reported that Junaid was dropped last minute but it was reported he was to play the young Aamir in that article, which dint make sense. Now there are these reports that Aamir replaced him as lead.

On koffee with karan in November Aamir said Junaid wants to act & direct films. In January, he was looking for scripts for Junaid and reportedly said "he has seen his work & is happy with it"

Cut to March, when he said he announced himself as Lal Singh's lead he said Junaid and Ira can do whatever they want to do with their lives. Next day, he gave an interview stating Junaid has not 'approached' him for any role after the laal singh reports came. He said Junaid is more interested in theater than films.

He never speaks about his kids..in Jan he went on to say he's trained in LA and has actively done theater in India and abroad..he is bright and then suddenly does not know what he wants to do?

Oh, wow.. so that is how much he wants to '[help his son '..

Well, I guess Junaid 's debut will be..never.

If this is true, it's good. Atleast he won't be pointed out for nepotism. I remember how Imran Khan was struggling and Aamir gave him Dehli Belly and after that, never helped him get films or build his career. He even told Imran that he isn't a good actor after 'I Hate Luv Stories'. Imran eventually quit.

Frankly, if Junaid isn't good enough, its best for his father to not launch him only to get backlash. Its better that your parents tell you that you are not good enough at something or you need improvement rather than other people. That is what parents are for.

Maybe he knows something we don’t. Have you seen how tall Junaid is? He’s well over 6 feet tall.On a serious note, I doubt this is true because I assume if Junaid had shot for any parts of this movie there would have been announcements of his launch and what not.

There is Kjo and there is Aamir. If true, Massive respect for not falling into mediocrity trap and only wanting best for the audience. Also respecting the Art enough to not being ok with mediocrity. I don’t know how he went wrong with TOH and Dhoom though. He is a perfectionist afterall.

And Thank you for not being one of those parents who keep coming to me for dance lessons and say stuff like “ my son is an amazing dancer already and he will be perfect for your intermediate class ” when they can’t even move 😒.
