How can any actor/actress save a film which is just a disaster in every sense of the word? I can't believe they spent so much money on this trash. Everyone is wasting their hard earned money by watching this film.

Even Ranveer couldn't save Padmaavat for me even though he was brilliant as Khilji. Although Padmaavat was still better than this crap fest lol.

So Alia and Varun being miscast is a secondary issue here.

KJo should've just adapted the novel which actually has a storyline.

Thugs of Hindostan also made the same mistake, should've just adapted Confessions of a Thug, which is a good story.

The film wouldn't have been better but they would have certainly looked better in those parts.

Varia should stick to Dulhania type movies. They as a couple lack the grace or aura to pull off opulent period dramas or epic romances.

@bold Completely agree! Not just Varun, even Alia was a miscast. She was below mediocre like Varun.

Both of them were a huge misfit in that era (or Abhishek's world lol), millennials should just stick to the Dulhania series lol. 😆😆

IF the script and story lacks a soul, then doesnt matter who was cast...but if DeepVeer were there, I would've watched the movie and would've felt bad if it tanked...

so thank god, they were not a part of it...
