Tailor-made : Regardless whether she suits them or not, roles come her way on a platter. Roles written keeping her in mind. Karan hijacking projects with dharma money. Sidelining others. Therefore tailor made author backed roles with maximum effect which most actresses don't really have.

Miscast : Getting roles that doesnt suit her like Kalank. Before Kalank I dont remember anyone saying she was miscasted in anything. Karan is trying to project her as this ethereal beauty but it's not shaping up. There's tailormade phenomenon here too, the movie is now about Roop's big mistake and probably have the maximum screentime.

Very well said about KJo's baby girl..

what projects have been created especially for her? I think the only one originally tailor made for her was gully boy, and that was outright stated by zoya. where she said she had alia in mind when writing the character.

someone mentioned the term curated. that is an accurate statement about her career. where her projects are carefully chosen and planned in order to meet a certain agenda.
tailor made-gully boy. i have no complaints with her doing that film

kalank is also tailor made in that the director changed components so it could fit her* I am sure many other films have as well

Don't take such posts seriously. I have no idea who said those things but most of the hate Alia gets is from rival actresses's fans.

The fact of the matter is Alia has no competition right now. Audience loves her. Plus, she can act. Her movies do well at the box office and most of them get praised by critics too.

Karan Johar isn't in the charity business. If Alia wasn't useful to him, he would not give "tailor made" roles to her. Look at how fast he dropped Imran Khan (who btw was his only "worthy" contender against Ranbir for a long ass time), Rani M, Priety Zinta, Kareena, Abhisekh Bacchan etc. once they were no longer relevant at the box office. Karan tried so hard to push Abhisekh in the mid-2000s but audience rejected AB .So, at the end of the day, people decide who they like. And they like Alia, overwhelmingly.

Ya..the insecurity became crystal clear with Kalank.
I have accepted the fact that members here don't like Alia for various reasons and the bashing does not affect me at all now.I don't care how she gets movies or what goes behind the scenes,I like to watch her onscreen and I am happy as a fan.

KJo is the pimp who is making money off his golden goose. The day it stops giving golden eggs is the day he will get rid off it and get a new one.

miscast is that she is not the best representative for those roles, someone else may have done a better job

This makes sense.

That's none of our business..whether she will be able to take failure or not, humein isme kya

I dont think there is any insecurity...atleast on my part.😆 I am not out here rooting for a particular actress. nor do I find alia an obstacle over someone else's success. she will keep on getting work. good for her. But I personally would not want my favorite actress or actor getting hated on b/c of the way they aquire work.
you are happy with it, that's fine. thats a great way to live w/o worrying about an industry we dont even belong to.
But some people happen to care and pay attention to what happens behind the scenes and find it unfair.
I personally just dont advocate her journey and the way she gets films and just happen to pay attention to it and call it out.

*most of the audience will continue to like her as they dont care about it. its just the obsessive folk on India forums who notice every little thing😆😆

Same with Karishma she is much sharper with her movements - required in western dancing no one cares about "grace"

I know Madhuri fans are very emotional when it comes to her dancing. Madhuri's USP are her facial expressions. But when it comes to BODY She is not perfect and even Katrina Kaif is better.

I am a big big Aish fan and I love dance.. According to me Dola re was Ash worst dance number..I admire Ash's dancing a lot, and Kajra re is one of my most favourite bollywood dance performance of all time.. But in Dola re she was not good.. she was rushing the steps, lacked the fluidity and was somewhat stiff. Madhuri was the clear winner there.
