Tailor-made : Regardless whether she suits them or not,roles come her way on a platter. Roles written keeping her in mind. Karan hijacking projects with dharma money. Sidelining others. Therefore tailor made author backed roles with maximum effect which most actresses don't really have.

Miscast : Getting roles that doesnt suit her like Kalank. Before Kalank I dont remember anyone saying she was miscasted in anything. Karan is trying to project her as this ethereal beauty but it's not shaping up. There's tailormade phenomenon here too, the movie is now about Roop's big mistake and probably have the maximum screentime.

The fact of the matter is Alia has no competition right now. Audience loves her. Plus, she can act. Her movies do well at the box office and most of them get praised by critics too.

Karan Johar isn't in the charity business. If Alia wasn't useful to him, he would not give "tailor made" roles to her. Look at how fast he dropped Imran Khan (who btw was his only "worthy" contender against Ranbir for a long ass time), Rani M, Priety Zinta, Kareena, Abhisekh Bacchan etc. once they were no longer relevant at the box office. Karan tried so hard to push Abhisekh in the mid-2000s but audience rejected AB .So, at the end of the day, people decide who they like. And they like Alia, overwhelmingly.

tailor made means that she has good roles "tailor made" for her meaning they are given to her pretty easily. she doesnt really have to work for them. she shines in them b/c the roles for her are basically amazing. all her roles are from films that are crtiically acclaimed.

miscast is that she is not the best representative for those roles, someone else may have done a better job

I have accepted the fact that members here don't like Alia for various reasons and the bashing does not affect me at all now.I don't care how she gets movies or what goes behind the scenes,I like to watch her onscreen and I am happy as a fan.

Those gifs are proof itself. Look at Ash' body posture compared to Madhuri, Ash's posture is correct and the formation of her arms are giving straight lines which is correct - Madhuri is bending her arms which is not clean dancing.

Same with Karishma she is much sharper with her movements - required in western dancing no one cares about "grace"

I know Madhuri fans are very emotional when it comes to her dancing. Madhuri's USP are her facial expressions. But when it comes to BODY She is not perfect and even Katrina Kaif is better.
