I would have still respected her as a person had she not gone to Papa Jo to complain about Zoya mistreating her in the set 🤣. I mean which kid does that ? And I dont have respect for kids who complain everything to their teachers who are already partial to them, instead of trying to sort things out themselves.

She might be a good actor...but the very fact that her whole career has been served on a platter puts me off. She bagged most of her non-dharma projects only when KJo stepped in and recommended her. Who would dare to turn off KJo's recommendation? Her cards are being played really well.

Alia better enjoy her moments in the sun because as the saying goes, 'what goes up must come down'. This rosy path to success and stardom that she's on isn't going to go on forever, KJO or no KJO. And when the failures and criticisms come, we will then see what she is really made of.

Her stretching of neck etc has nothing to do with her career and has more to do with her crush Ranbir than anything else. She is definitely insecure of the fact that she looks no where close to what Ranbir's Exes look. Be it Deepika or Kat.

I agree. Point I was making was that she has many insecurities about many things so her not getting any respect does not roll off her shoulders. It does bother her.

I remember seeing a picture of her from a few years ago (before RK) standing next to Kriti and stretching her neck. So it didn't start with RK but it has definitely gotten worse after RK.

I heard it was quite the opposite

He faced a lot of rejection in the beginning bcz of his height and unconventional appearance

He was even rejected by All India Radio and did a small role in his first movie

Mamu introduced him in a big way and got AR Rehman to do the music! Then when his career died, he rescued him again with Delhi Belly although he was such a bad actor. Rakesh Roshan has done the same for Hrithik time and again. He barely has anything worthy to speak of outside their own home label.

I don't know where people are coming up with this that nobody respects her? People in the industry all like her just fine.

It sucks that other actresses are not getting a chance but nobody in the industry hates her like it's being projected on this forum. Maybe the competing actresses hate her but that is normal. It's always like that for everyone.

There's obviously a reason people respect someone like Priyanka and not her: Priyanka is a self made woman, Alia isn't, simple.
