He said Takht is like "The K3G of the Mughal Era". So Takht maybe based in London, New York or Paris, guys 😆

Did he say that to make us watch the film or be afraid of watching it? 🤣

That was the most ridiculous comparison ever! It actually made me think 100 times if I even want to watch Takht or not 🤣

Kareena as Pooh had me traumatised. I can't handle it again. 😆

@bold: may I ask what issue you have with the cast?

Is it Ranveer-Vicky.. or the female leads: Kareena, Alia, Bhumi?

Or all?

I mean, besides Alia being dragged in !!! and my worry that Kareena will get the better role amongst all (ensured by KJo that this will be her GREAT comeback!)... I am pretty much happy with the actors

Well she's said it several times that she just can't say no to Karan... but her role is important I mean the recent news articles have stated that Alia has the most prominent role among the female actors after Kareena.

Bhumi and Janhvi's roles are small as per reports. Bhumi has the shortest role and Janhvi the second shortest as per reports.

Also, I think in a Karan Johar film, love stories are a must. Why else has Hirabai been included in the film? There's bound to be romance, betrayal etc. Karan just can't make a film without these elements.

Regarding the mujra part. I watched the clip u shared. I donno why but I think janhvi is calling kathak as mujra. She must've mistaken both to be same. Anyways we will know in a few months if not days..who is playing whom. Alia is definitely not paired opposite Ranveer. Aurangzeb's wife has no big role so am not sure if Alia will do such a miniscule role but then she has infamously been quoted saying she said yes before even having a script so it must be a flowerpot prop role.

That's why I never take her acting as seriously.

She is so ,... pre-packaged ! Everything is done for her, roles given, chosen, parts done to get the best out of her..

And like with any pre-packaged meals.. no matter how nicely the 'box' is done.. now matter how much advertising it gets.. it will never beat a 'home cooked meal '.

We shall see.. KJo .. though.. is not inspiring confidence..

True, I hate nepotism as well and initially I wasn't a fan of Alia but after watching Udta Punjab, Raazi and Gully Boy, she's become one of my favourite actresses right now. She has performed brilliantly in those movies.

Even though she is definitely a product of nepotism, we can't deny that she has become a great actress and is talented. Alia and Ranveer are probably the most versatile actors right now.

Ranveer will play double role. Both himself and his ...shawl covered wife. KJo is saving on budget ..

(this is a joke BTW.. don;t take it to heart..lol.. we have no clue.. it will oprobably be a much reduced role and given to some smaller actress.. ot a TV actress)
