I'm very happy with male cast. Absolutely love Anil Kapoor, Ranveer and Vicky. All of them are suitable for their respective characters. I like Kareena as Jahanara as well, she has that regal look and can definitely pull this off.
I'm just confused about Alia and absolutely disappointed with Janhvi's inclusion in the cast. Alia is one of my favourite actresses right now but as we've already seen in her Kalank poster, she looks like a kid in those costumes and can't pull of a royal look like this.
Takht will have very heavy and grand costumes and Alia will look even more like a kid in those clothes. She has to gain some weight for this role in order to look convincing. I can't think of an actress from the current lot to replace Alia though...
About Janhvi... I don't even know where to start đ The only reason she's part of Takht is "nepotism." I haven't seen her first film and I honestly don't know about her acting talent but she physically doesn't fit the role at all.
As per recent reports, she's playing the slave girl, Zainabadi Mahal, whom Aurangzeb got infatuated with. Janhvi has even started learning mujra for the part.
I would've loved to see Sara in this role. She would've been perfect. Zainabadi Mahal was beautiful and Janhvi certainly doesn't look the part. No offense to Janhvi fans, I just don't think she fits the role.
Also, does anyone else think Ranveer would've been amazing as Aurangzeb? He plays a villain so well I love Vicky and I know he'll do a great job but I can't help thinking about what Ranveer would've done with the role. đđ
