This is what was written in their leading publication

The charade of cover-ups does not end there. The Pakistani media also tried to come up with alibis for the JeM even after the terror group itself claimed responsibility for the bloodbath.

The Nation, a Pakistani daily, published a report on February 15 after the dastardly acts on February 14, with the headline Freedom fighter launches attack, 44 of occupying force killed in IOK'. The newspaper report also quoted a JeM spokesperson' who absolved the outfit from any wrongdoing.

I totally understand and respect your POV and I agree with what you wrote about The Nation.

But I still don't think Sidhu said anything outside his freedom of speech/expression.

Newspaper headlines aren't a reflection a nation's conscience be it India or Pakistan.

During Nirbhaya's case, a substantial portion of Indian media labelled Delhi as "Rape capital of India".
International media went ahead even further and called India "a country of rapists".

But was that true?

Government is not a single person or a single team. It is a system that involved people working at MANY levels
There's no way of knowing what the Pakistani government is and isn't doing.

It also kind of proves that the most people ON THE INTERNET have no idea who they are they are actually fighting against?

Sidhu?
JeM
Pakistani Media?
Pakistani Govt.?
Pakistan
Islam
Terrorism?

Off course it WOULDN'T be the first time statements of these so called "celebs" are taken out of context and distorted.

Pakistani Government has always been a supporter of terrorism against India.
And anyone who sides with the Pakistani government, isn't being sensible, they are being a fool.
And fools will be treated like one.
Sidhu's comments without the context looks nice to read, but he is a political diplomat, who needs to be more aware of what he is speaking.
I don't doubt his intention, he isn't an anti-national, but he is an idiot.

I think Sidhu comments are not the only reason He got sacked. He went Pakistan twice to congratulate Imran which didn't go well with the public considering Imran was already giving hate speech toward India. News Channels also portrayed him as a villain. So the general public was already upset with him & then his comment added fuel to the fire.

A country cannot be blamed for the wrong doings of its citizens which is true but not in the case of Pakistan. Pakistan had created these terrorist groups which later formed good jihad and bad jihad wherein good jihad fights against India and bad jihad fights against Pakistan itself. They shelter these terrorist organizations and train them and hence we can see the terrorist Hafiz Saeed considered a respected citizen of their country. There is no way to justify their actions as the Government itself creates these terror groups and faces the consequences. Siddhu is aware of these things and still supports them. He should be responsible for what he talks and should not talk nonsense.

I wouldn't blame the citizens but the pakistani government needs to be held accountable... They cannot keep doing this... If they can't flush out the terrorists then give free reign to indian forces, they singlehandedly free both the countries of these termites.

what wrong did he say?
he gave such a sensible response

i am amazed so much reaction over this statement

people have become very intolerant..and i say this for people overall..not restricted to a particular nation..

people like kangana who are giving such strong statements are not being targetted and this guy was for a statement like this..if this was indeed all what he said

Nations cannot be held responsible for terrorism? except for the ones that actively funds and sponsors it - Pakistan.

Terrorists have no religion? Yes they do, especially when they commit acts of terrorism in the name of their religion.

Talk about ignoring the elephant in the room.

they are using religion as a shield to do their dirty acts
no religion preaches what they do..

and it is better to get full knowledge before making such offensive statements
