Sorry I am gonna plead ignorance for this one.

When I found out that Sidhu has been sacked, I was happy because I never liked him or that show

But then I searched online about his comments.

Based on what I found, he only said that "we cannot not blame an entire nation for the actions of a few cowards" or something along those lines.

To be very honest, what's so wrong about this statement?😕

All he said is that a terrorist is not a representative of his country, religion or anyone.

I mean come on, its OKAY to bash and criticize one's statements, but people are calling him deshdrohi, terrorist and what not.😲😲

Kill me for saying this, but I think this is the problem with our country, especially on social media.

Public outcry/outrage has become a joke
because rather than actually tackling the problem. people always indulge in the "blame game" and focus on all the wrong things,

I am not a fan of Sidhu or The Kapil Sharma Show. Haven't watched that crap in years.

I am an Indian and my heart goes out to the families of all the brave hearts who died in pulwama attacks. Indeed a sad moment for the country.

Nations cannot be held responsible for the dastardly acts of terrorists. The terrorists do not have deen or mazhab (sect and religion). There are good, the bad and the ugly. Every institution has them. Every nation has them. The ugly need to be punished. But individuals cannot be blamed for the dastardly act,

His comment. I cant even begin. If he had stopped only after the first line, it would look fine to me. But what's with the last one ? Individuals cannot be blamed ? Then who can be blamed ? Nation cannot be blamed, individuals cannot be named, groups cannot be blamed, govt cannot be blamed. Let's blame the 44 martyrs instead 🤢

This defensive statement is why he got fired. This is not the time to try to justify the heinous crime. Let's call a spade a spade and STRONGLY condemn the terrorists and the groups and the SPONSORING Govt. 🤢

Siddhu is a pawn (who was stupid to speak now knowing it will be used against him ) so that people can vent out their hatred and anger towards him and don't question Govt's failure

Will all due respect. That's only ONE OF THE MANY inferences that can be drawn from his statement.

Strictly my POV, but what he probably meant that the the terrorist groups who're funding and organizing these attacks need to be blamed and held accountable for the attacks. They hire school boys and brain-wash them in the name of religion and country-love.

Sidhu DID NOT support the act for GOD's sake. He never blamed the martyrs.

I know people are emotional right now, but reacting this way and is not gonna help anyone.
Yes, it's time to strongly condemn the act and the terrorist group but we're really joking ourselves if we think that fighting among ourselves and pointing fingers at each other is going to solve the problem.

its a well known fact that Pakistan is a safe haven for terrorists. Why isnt the Pak government doing anything about it.
This is what was written in their leading publication

The charade of cover-ups does not end there. The Pakistani media also tried to come up with alibis for the JeM even after the terror group itself claimed responsibility for the bloodbath.

The Nation, a Pakistani daily, published a report on February 15 after the dastardly acts on February 14, with the headline Freedom fighter launches attack, 44 of occupying force killed in IOK'. The newspaper report also quoted a JeM spokesperson' who absolved the outfit from any wrongdoing.

With all due respect, why won't I hold Pakistan Govt responsible ? Somewhere I read that Jaish-e-mohammad was banned in Pakistan around 2002 or so. How is it even continuing their existence on the soil of Pakistan then ? Why didn't Pak Govt do anything about it ? A banned organization is allowed to operate freely ? Then it is sheer failure of the Govt itself. And if they cannot be bothered about that, I'd assume they are indirectly helping them out.

I am not saying all these because right now I am too emotional. This is a question which always crosses my mind. How all the terrorist organizations freely operate in that country and why the Govt doesnt do anything about it. The day I get a legit answer, I guess I can stop questioning the authenticity of Pak govt.

Because you always need a easy target especially when youre sitting behind a computer and just typing instead of doing something productive. Sidhu has atleast played for his country and represented more than any of those ppl who tweeted for his boycott.

Emotions are too high at the moment. I bet 90% of the people who are calling him a traitor haven't even heard what he said exactly. Just distorted versions of it. He condemned the act strongly.
All that said, Sidhu is:

a) A fool
b) A minority
c) A former member of the BJP, who switched sides to the Congress.
d) The lone politician who went to Pakistan for Imran Khans inauguration.
e) Recently criticized for claiming North Indian culture was more similar to Pakistan than South India. The truth but nobody is listening.

In no way shape or form is Sidhu an anti national or traitor but if you're going to keep making statements without keeping the nation's mood and the times we live In, in mind, you're going to get trashed. Doesn't matter how right you are.

So Mr Sidhu, you got your self in this hot mess and your political opponents are going to milk it. Should've just kept quiet.

I think,..

Sidhhu tried to poorly, cover himself before someone taunts him, that now ask for the reply from your friend Imran khan Or,.. General Bajwa,... to whom he had hugged,... Seeking for a neela samndar,...

Here are my questions,..

1. India never did such cowardly attack in Pakistan, but think over,.. If we did,... will they also think the same way,..? .. that due to some bad ppl, whole nation is not bad,...?

2. How an individual, personal guy can get that many Kgs of RDX, if unaided by top sources and governmental hand was not involved,.. as a backing up ?

3. Was not at the time of 26/11 to train Kasab and such,.. the whole terrorist union and Government and all were involved,.. which later even Pakistan had confirmed in their own news that, our ISI union and Government trainings were with them,...

4. How the Kashmiri terrorists can penetrate with weapons and such RDX, if Govt and their terror camps never had hands,... Does it sound anywhere possible to believe,...?

5. Do we have any list of Uri, akshardham ( delhi and gandhinagar ), parliament, 26/11, Bombay stk exchange, Recent incident of our Jawan Aurangzeb,.. and other tons of Mumbai train blasts, Hyderabad blasts, Ahmedabad railway station blast and how many other such have happened in just last 10 years? Is there any count at all? Or just forget and forgive and move on,... how long and how many times,...?

My take is,... Declare Marshall law and let army rule the nation and then, whatever they want to do,. Will be fine,... and also declare Kashmir as an emergency state ,.. and,... GHar mein jaa kar jo kisi pe bhi terrorist ko shelters dene ka,... ka doubt ho,... thok dau,... Even a 1% doubt,.. thok dau,... Coz we can not take more risks,.. Kashmeeer panditO ko vapis tau ghusaan eki himmat nahin hai,.. lekin,... Yeh tpoh kar sakte hai,... State ko,... army waale ko de dau,... with full freedom, as and what and how they wanna rule,...

Kindly read the comments below of such links,.. for general opinions,...

P.S.: Just remember,.. the word " Dastardly ", is been used here by Modi,... first time in the history of last 100 years , after Roosevelt had used, ( after Pearl Harbor attack by JAPS ) in 40s , before he had nuke attacked Hiroshima and Nagasakhi,..
