I do not stalk Ranveer or any other celeb on instagram so won't know about what Ranveer or any other celebrity for that matter posts or doesn't post.
It is good to take inspirations. Besides, Heath Ledger and Malcolm McDowell are actually very inspirational when it comes to the antagonistic portrayal.
But you think Ranveer respects them and in my opinion, he thinks he is as big as them. Well neither do you have any validation apart from Ranveer's words to prove your point and neither do I have anything apart from my opinion. So neither of what we think is fact. So, lets leave it there.

Ranveer's words, thats exactly the point, ranveer SAID he is inspired by them, i think rs has actually spoke about posting the fanart in one of his interviews coz he was asked about it, and ranveer said it was only coz he looks upto those actors, he has never said he is big as them

but if Ranveer's own actual words are not validation for u then i dont know wat to say 😕

Last time I checked Sanju was a bigger grosser than Padmaavat and Simmba, so don't know how audience is choosing Ranveer or Ranbir.😆 And before someone cries Raju Chacha, Raju Chacha, then I remind you all that SLB or Rohit Shetty are not some newbie directora.

Now even if you say that Raju Hirani has a 100% track record, then also Raju's all previous big Blockbusters before Sanju are only with Aamir Khan. Munna Bhai series is not that big at box office compared to 3 Idiots, PK or Sanju. Heck, Sanju is actually a bigger Hit than 3 Idiots which is arguably the most loved film of the 21st century.

So Sanju with Ranbir earning as much as Aamir Khan films, that too without a single holiday makes it's success much bigger.

Obviously now some will cry that it was the content which made Sanju Blockbuster blah blah. As if Padmaavat and Simmba didn't earn that much because of content.😆Not

to forget both movies got advantage of Republic day and New Year Holidays.

One might argue that Ranveer had two successful movies last year, while Ranbir only had one. That point doesn't hold much value because Sanju took a 30 Crore+ opening like a Khan film, which is yet to be done by Ranveer, Varun or Tiger. That is enough to prove that public likes Ranbir more than Ranveer. And the two movies of RS working at box office doesn't make him a bigger star, because he's still not a bigger crowd puller than RK. Because saying that is like saying Ayushmann is a bigger star than Tiger because he had two small Hits last year, in comparison to Tiger's one Blockbuster Baaghi 2.

He recently posted a fanart where Simmba cartoon scene of Rafiki holding the baby Simmba while Mufasa looked on where he was Simmba, Rohit Rafiki and Ajay Mufasa. Why no outrage about him comparing himself to the cartoon Simmba.

My God!!! Did you even read my previous posts? I know Meryl Streep reference and nowhere have I said people are calling her that. I was pointing out about how she is mocked as desi Meryl Streep in this thread which is not even about her. So yeah the context is indeed different. RS did not call himself Ledger but proudly flaunted a fanart. If it were his PR,I would still have given him a benefit of doubt.

Simba a cartoon character is same as legends like Ledger and McDowell? Oh well great. Why the outrage didn't happen? I don't know.

And please don't tell me or anyone else for that matter what to do or not. You check Ranveer's social media. Good for you. I don't need to and neither do I need your advice on that. Thank you but no thanks.

this whole rk and rs comparison thing is really baseless tbh, people are gonna hav their own opinons about who they like more, some will like rk more and some will like rs more and they will hav their reasons, so its better to agree to disagree rather than arguing and going around in circles trying to prove who is more loved or successful, coz tbh is really doesn't matter, just enjoy their films coz their job and passion is to act and to entertain the audience, it isn't as deep or complex as some people are making it

and its the same for any comparisons between actors or actresses, like alia and deepika

They aren't called ACTORS for nothing. And no I do not take actors' words for gospel truth.

So don't say anything. We can agree to disagree as two mature individuals.

What I think about actors lying or speaking the truth is my opinion and I don't think there is a need for you to bring other actors in an unrelated thread like this.

There is no need to be snarky because I don't take Ranveer's words as gospel truth.
