Context is different. Alia, her brother and her pr was trolled for that comment back then. And unlike what you said no one attributed the Meryl Streep quote to Alia. Everyone said she is compared or called as desi Meryl Streep so what is wrong in that. That was what was conveyed by her brother and her pr. You clearly did not know where the Meryl Streep reference came from or you would have known why she was called that. You on your own jumped to the conclusion that people are calling her that because people think she said it when it clearly was not the case and made tit for tat comment about something RS never said.

And as you said RS posted a meme (fan art) not a post comparing him to Heath Ledger and it was something a fan made. Go check his social media he posts a lot of fan art on his social media. So in no way was he comparing himself to Heath Ledger or was his pr trying to. He recently posted a fanart where Simmba cartoon scene of Rafiki holding the baby Simmba while Mufasa looked on where he was Simmba, Rohit Rafiki and Ajay Mufasa. Why no outrage about him comparing himself to the cartoon Simmba.

Did Anjs say that Alia called herself Meryl Streep? No she did not. You on the other hand are going around on this thread saying that Ranveer called himself Heath Ledger.

I joined the conversation in the last few pages only when you brought in the Heath Ledger links, so when did I deflect to Alia? I quoted your reply to me where you are holding Deepveer fans on the thread accountable for something Anjs said. So you yourself brought Alia into the debate here with me and Zara.

Of course we all try to make our faves look better.

And KJo 's show is now the barometer? Okay, lol...

For me .. give me Ranveer anyday.His choices are mostly excellent . I am a fan strong enough to say I am not sold on Befikre and Kill Dill but I have enjoyed every other movie of his. He's a method actor.. not reliant on props and smoke and mirrors and it shows..in 8 years he's done more than others that have bigger family names and been in industry longer.

Karan's show is not my barometer.

I like Ranbir but find him monotonous .. same old same old. He started well then became blazee. And now cashes in on easy roles. He even says himself he's 'still fooling the audiences ' (see KWK interview) and he's a mediocre actor

He knows he'd struggle for roles in meritocratic industries.

People choose Ranveer with their wallets. He is exciting and has the passion that Ranbir lacks, IMO.

Box office has been screaming otherwise but the unanimous response of most of these guests in favor of Ranbir is just questionable to me.Ranbir is just about as good as Ranveer but Ranveer is more versatile and definitely has the more massy appeal.

I do feelit s appease Kjo at some level or just the camaraderie they share for "their own". It's disgusting to watch!

Was it necessary for Anjs to bring in Alia when this thread is not even about her? And no Anjs DID not say Alia called herself Meryl Streep. I am calling her out for mocking Alia in the thread that is not even about her. I did not even say you deflect to Alia. You said that and I told you the thread got deflected in the second page itself.

I was simply calling out on Anjs by calling her A DeepVeer fan, meaning just 1 fan. And I just carried forward with Alia, she was brought in by someone else.

@Eggon me want outrage on the fanart he posted comparing himself to cartoon Simmba. My fave cartoon Simmba is and he ruined it for me by comparing that South remake masala revenge-rape movie to a cartoon loved by all. 😭 he really thinks his Simmba is as popular and as loved as cartoon Simmba.

it wasn't a meme, it was fanart, and ranveer liked the fanart so he posted it, ranveer posts so much fanart on his instagram, he has been doing it for simmba and gullyboy,

there is the word 'inspired', actors are always inspired and look upto other actors, and ranveer has always said he took inspiration from heath ledger and the character from clockwork orange, he respects them so much
