There was no sidelining of secondary characters and more of Kangana. Everyone has enough screen space in the film. Sadashiv Rao doesn't die till the end credits so no idea why he is blaming Kangana for that. Danny has enough footage in the film so does Jishu. Danny actually is the second most important character after Lakshmi post interval since he is the general who helps her.

He is to Lakshmi what Katappa is to Baahubali. Ankita has one full song for herself where Kangana takes backseat. Even Mishti is there whereever she is required. Nowhere in the film is focus only on Lakshmi. There are several scenes involving the British and Sadashiv where Kangana isn't even there.

And so much focus on childhood? Where? We see mini Manikarnika only once for a few seconds in the Bharat Rehna Chahiye song.

I understand he has grouse against her for hijacking his project and making it her own. It was disrectful on Kangana's part and very wrong to have the first credit only for herself when earlier there were reports that she doesn't want to share credits and Krish would get his due. His name should've been there on the first slate along with Kangana.

Also, since he said the action scenes have been kept the same, if THAT is what Krish's direction actually is, I have nothing else to say. It's terrible! As terrible as the first half. And the mess up clearly shows on screen. Such lousy direction, baap re baap, be it Kangu or Krish.

Moral of the story is that they both suck at direction and Manikarnika was a very weak and average film. So Kangu should get back to focussing on acting and dialogue delivery practive and Krish should get back to doing South films since he is apparently a good Telugu film director.

I honestly had lost all my hopes when Kangu took the project away from Ketam Mehta to Krish. The same director behind that terrible Gabbar is Back.🤢

I really hope one day Ketan does direct a biopic on Lakshmibai.

I just dislike her work ethics so much that it makes me vary of her as an actor too. Sad coz I really liked her once!

I think even using Mahishasurmardini stotram during Lakshmi fight sequences was her idea. Same with the beef sequence, the hilarious maa kali sequencr and the Padmaavatsque ending.😆Poori ki poori mess up.
