Movie is progressing slow and steady ...3rd weekend will rake up 10 +cr I feel

Lets see , overall the people have liked it and given it a positive verdict.

Possibly! .. Not too sure tho ... Atm from what I read on articles, it has a chance for "average" feat ... don't think it can get a "hit" tag! .. but let's wait for BOI or Taran to give out the verdict! ..😊

I am not too sure at what point distributors start making profit! .. All I know is that distribution cost is around 60-65cr and verdict will be determined based on that ... Tho, It also needs to go over certain point for distributors to start racking profit! ... Since we don't know the details, let's just wait it out for the "final verdict" like how trade is waiting for it patiently! .. 😆

So happy the movie has done well .

I wish there was no reshooting and all that ( it just made the budget high ) still , the movie has shown that it did have strong legs to survive this far .😊

I've heard/read some criticisms about other actors' roles being shortened but I didn't feel the same. The movie is about JKR so it's going to have her in the limelight. The supporting cast (who themselves have a rich backstory) were good with their roles but you can't show everything. The time's limited after all. Whoever were necessary to the story- Jhalkari, her husband, Sadashiv, Ghaus etc even Hugh Rose had good screen time given their role. Their parts were to add to JKR's story which they did, sufficiently.

Baring the song and a couple of scenes in 1st half (a trivial nitpick) I enjoyed the entire film and Kangana's performance.

IKR, the side roles had enough screen space, Jhalkari Bai had quite a lengthy intro, she had prominence in later war scenes also, Raja had lengthy scenes with Manu, Intro scenes had Manu's dad Moropant, the Peshwa, her fight scenes with Tantiya and Nana Saheb, also the Brits and Sadashiv had several of their own scenes.

How much more screen space would they give others? Movie was abt JKR so obviously most of the narrative would be abt her. People are just talking nonsense and nitpicking, probably without even watching the movie.

Im glad that the movie focused on the titular character instead of focusing on the villains, on the set decoration, or costumes. JKR is one of our greatest historical figures, our nationalist hero and she deserves all the screentime she got, dont even understand why people would crib abt that except for their dislike of the actress playing the part.

I didnt mind any of the songs, they fit into the narrative, like Manu fainting while dancing to Dankila reveals her pregnancy, Rajaji song shows newly-marrieds Manu- Raja's romance developing, Bharat and Vijayi Bhava were beautiful anthems, stirring patriotic fervor to inspire .the training warriors and during the war scenes.

There is a chain... Producer ---> Distributor ---> Exhibitors. Producer is the one who fund or arrange funds for the film. Distributor acts as middle man who buys the product from producer and gets into deal with exhibitors. Exhibitors are mostly theater owners who exhibit the film.

The share of distributors and Exhibitors is on percentage basis on the net gain. Normally it's 50% - 50% in the first week and in subsequent weeks distributors share goes on reducing. That's the reason first week collection hold atmost importance nowadays as like in old era film don't run in cinema halls for weeks.

In this case, if it is sold to distributor at 65 crores. Then distributor has to earn 130 crores to break-even. That is no profit no loss situation means average. After this the other tags will come like semi-hit, Hit etc

I'm not too sure about Manikarnika as the narrative has been different from all the collection providing sites.
