The share of distributors and Exhibitors is on percentage basis on the net gain. Normally it's 50% - 50% in the first week and in subsequent weeks distributors share goes on reducing. That's the reason first week collection hold atmost importance nowadays as like in old era film don't run in cinema halls for weeks.

In this case, if it is sold to distributor at 65 crores. Then distributor has to earn 130 crores to break-even. That is no profit no loss situation means average. After this the other tags will come like semi-hit, Hit etc

I'm not too sure about Manikarnika as the narrative has been different from all the collection providing sites.

Box Office 101. You hit the nail on the head!

Everything I have learned about box office, a distribution cost of 65 crore needs 130 crore JUST to break even (average) based on the collective bargaining between distributors and exhibitors.

I'll find.

But I hope she does another period movie in future, she truly looks like those Amar Chitra Katha princess/queen. ☺️

All these years she never focused on them and played characters where beauty wasn't the highlight. She has such a good sense of styling,,, so nice that it comes all together with the amazing Neeta and of course makeup/hairstylists.

Nvm .. Got my answer from the other thread! .. Verdict on this one follows a different formula since Zee (producers) is also distributing the movie! ... So safe bet is to wait for final verdict announcement! ...

@IM: Shes looking gorgeous in the movie, those red sari ones are just stunning ⭐️
Can u please post a pic of her and Rajaji? 😳

Its so true, Kangy is underrated in terms of beauty, shes got beautiful features and a lithe figure, she looks so fragile yet so strong, which made her fit perfectly in the role of JKR.

There are 2 actresses who impressed me with their styling
PC in Dostana
I loved loved each and every outfits of hers in that movie . I also love her layered cut hair , and her make , fantastic! Her whole look in the movie to die for

And kangana almost in all her movies
If you see kanganas first outing in gangster , that curly hair , her dresses , so so fresh , and I hardly see her clown herself . I feel she does have good sense of styling
It's only she screwed up at Cannes carpet a bit , but in movies she is TOP
In fashion she killed it on ramps

And now in manikarnika , she looks ethereal , I never thought she would look this stunning in a period film
The way she draped the sarees , fine fine fine .
When she is seen riding in the fields with curly hair , sexy and stunning

Even off screen she mostly keeps it simple , yet stylish , Follows the trend
