Kiara Advani and not Sara Ali Khan to star in Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Ka

Sara Ali Khan, daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh has made her Bollywood debut. She has featured in the recent films Kedarnath' and Simmba' which have turned into a huge success. The star kid has got a warm welcome from the industry as well as fans and has got a massive fan following.

With her immense popularity, it has been rumoured that Sara Ali Khan will play the lead role in the upcoming sequel of his father Saif Ali Khan starrer film Love Aaj Kal'. It was also rumoured that she will be playing lead opposite the handsome Kartik Aaryan.

However, these rumours are now given a rest as it is now confirmed that Kiara Advani and not Sara Ali Khan will be playing the lead in Love Aaj Kal sequel. Yes, in a recent media interaction, it was learned that Sara Ali Khan was never was never considered for the role. It was Kiara Advani who is chosen by the filmmakers.

Reportedly, even the director of the sequel, Imtiaz Ali said that he would like Love Aaj Kal 2 to be very fresh. He also wants the film to be different from the 2009 film Love Aaj Kal that starred Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead. Thus, they chose Kiara Advani for the role.

As per the reports, the movie is being scripted recently. The filmmakers want the story to be related to the recent times. Kiara Advani will be seen opposite Kartik Aaryan in the film for the first time.

this one sounded the most realistic choice too because of the connection of Saif and Imtiaz. Rest of them seem farfetched (Baaghi 3, Varun's next etc).

I just hope she gets the lead role in ABCD3 or in other varun dhawans movie. I really wanna see them both together in a movie.

Can be possible but don't think so. It might be their own PR but others won't get same publicity as Sara got by associating herself with Karthik 😆
