I dont think Netflix series is a good idea.. an epic like Mahabharata needs to be experienced on big screen.. If made well it could be a visual delight.. It has all the elements of romance, drama, action, mythology... But again.. VFX in Bollywood has been so crap so far even with big budget films.. so better shelve it if u cant do proper justice to it..

And Aamir as Krishna.. no way.. B R Chopra's version had the best Krishna.. The one who came closer to him was Saurabh Raj Jain.. He has that height, personality, aura plus he has the calm on his face..

There was a layer of compassion behind his slyness and manipulations, I don't think Aamir can bring all those various layers of Krishna by staying true to the original material aka the mahabharat epic itself. He would try to mold Krishna to his own liking, and wouldn't bring the proper balance between Krishna's slyness and simultaneous compassion towards the human kind. He would lean it too much toward slyness or manipulation. Tbh, I don't trust him to follow the original epic, he would tweak to his own liking. and this is NOT the type of material you should take any liberaties with. The BEST and only Krishna who played the part perfectly was in Br chopra's mahabharat.
