Since i joined IF i have been hearing ad seeing these types of topics for so many years before that i have been reading similar stories in newspapers ...khans will be over because of age factor not because of loosing their star-power .

Not just the Khans, even Akshay's reign is slowly coming to an end and like angrybread rightly said, it is the age that's catching up. It is time for the younger actors to come in the picture just like the Khans did years ago.

Akshay has become smart enough to do age appropriate roles now and then which atleast makes the character he plays believable. The same can't be said about the others,esp Salman and SRK. There had to come a time where the audience would get fed up with the same thing being served to them and the time is now. With TOH, it's just high expectations from Aamir that has resulted in this disaster.

So untill the Khans reinvent and come up with films that are not about I,Me and Myself, they are going to have a tough time maintaining their position. They should for once start looking at the film the way it is and not like it is a Salman film or a SRK film,etc.

No not yet,the kind of stardom khans have enjoyed no actor from new generation can achive it.

Its just audience are choosing to watch movies with content than starcast.

They can still rule if ft hey start choosing movies with better scripts and age appropriate roles.

Why can't others realease thier movies on holidays

Oh I thought Padmavat was non holiday release.. forgot about R day.

So Sanju is the only recent non holiday BB 👏

It wouldve been the case if race 3 and thugs were actually good/decent movies and still lose to others but they turned out to be outright atrocious

sanju was based on sanjay dutt, I doubt ranbir has the power to bring an ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER just as yet! But yeh to answer your question it seems like it is over, but I am getting the feeing that BHAARAT will work!

Padmavat had a holiday attached , I thought it only got help from Karni sena
So it turns out that the real deal is Sanju , not a single holiday
It even tops dangal and all

I agree that Ranbir cannot bring an ATBB all by himself, but then neither can Sanjay Dutt. Otherwise his last films eg. Bhoomi etc wiuld not have tanked. 😆

He also needs a Rajkumar Hirani to give Munna Bhai 😛
