Well I hope Salman is over..
SRK and aamir need to understand that people expect too much and they should deliver..

It's doubtful that something like the starpowerlevel Aamir, Salman and SRK have reached will be reached again in the future.

The streaming portals will perceptibly change the face of the filmindustry which could bring healthy changes, new adventures and more content driven diversity.

Sanju is made by a director who only delivered blockbuster hits in the past, crediting rk only is laughable. And if you don't like Khans just don't watch their movies, go support so called young actor. Khans will continue to act til the day they die and their fans will be watching their movies.

If Padmavati's success is credited to Karni Sena and Republic Day, then Sanju's success should only be credited to Hirani, who has delivered multiple block-busters. Ranbir did this film after a spate of flops, so he certainly added nothing to the success of the film. (Given the twisted logic being presented here.)

And no, the reign of the Khans is NOT over. Especially not Aamir's. If Rajnikanth can keep doing films well into his late 60's, then what is stopping the Khans. SRK might not be able to get big opening numbers now, but if he does a good film, he will certainly bring back his fan-base. These guys have been in the industry for more than two decades, can't just write them off like that.

khans do have a genuine fan following, no doubt, but one can't deny that it is also because they have been sold this way! Media has sold them this way, big PHS and festive seasons have sold them this way, the day this kind of selling does not happen, they may slowly disappear, heck they already are, and frankly it is about time!

I wouldn't say the Khans are done. I think the better question would be if the star system is done. The audience is changing and while people have their favs, I think audiences can appreciate a good movie or a good performance from others

Isn't it just normal cycle of life? When I was growing up Amitabh Bachchan, Mithun Chakraborty, Govinda, Sunny Deol were huge huge stars...and then their reign ended and the Khans began. Now the Khans are older and the Kapoors and Singhs and Khuranas are here. Yeh toh hona hi tha.

Having said that, AK will be fine. He has been doing all kinds of films since 2001. Good thing TOH has clearly told him that regular masala genre is not his area. TBH it never was. 😆

The words like REIGN, RULE, KING, SULTAN etc can be used only for the Khans and the superstars who came before them...yes their reign may be coming towards an end...If AB Sr can come down...everyone else has to...but there will be no one REIGNING after the Khans...there will be no more superstars, Kings or Sultans after the Khans...the next generation will be living from check to check or in BW terms ...Friday to Friday...the reason being that the younger generation is too objective...they don't connect on an emotional level...and to have the kind of megastardom that Rajesh Khanna, AB Sr and the 3 Khans have will never be attained by the next generation...so even if its BYE BYE KHANS...it will also be BYE BYE to the LAST SUPERSTARS...no more superstardom , ruling, reigning after the Khans.
