This song is such a cute conversational one. She tells him she has spent the whole day with him, now he needs to let her go, and bids him good night to which he replies ..it maybe easy for her to leave, but she will never leave his heart!

And this one is an eternal favorite! What a rocking tune by R.D Burman! Lyrics are by Majrooh and magnificently sung by Rafi and Asha and equally (if not more) magnificently performed by Shammi Kapoor and Helen! 👏👏⭐️

While I'm on Shammi Kapoor, here's another song from 'Tumsa Nahin Dekha", Shammi in his staple on-screen avatar - A disguise! 😆😆 - facing off to Ameeta's shaayri, all while being quintessentially Shammi! 😃

From Kala Bazaar, Goldie Anand directed and also played a bit role in it. It does sound strange hearing Mannada's voice from Dev's lips 😆- I love Mannadey, but I wish S.DB had chosen Rafi to convey the masti in this song! He's in love but she's unavailable, her betrothed (Vijay Anand in a cameo) being away in London, she's trying hard to be faithful, but he's making it sooo difficult for her! 😃

This is a beautiful composition by Madan Mohan, in a movie (Adalat) that's mainly known for its amazing ghazals, this one almost flows like a waltz, you just feel like swaying along with the tune. She asks him if he will drop her after lifting her from the ground to the skies? And he responds with another question - will she forget him after taking his heart? All in rhetoric.

I love Geeta Bali's expressions in this, the way she drags the "kyaaa" 😆and Rajkumari's voice suits her so much. It's such an enjoyable back and forth, with him asking her to tell the truth about when she first took his heart and she replies that it was when he first smiled at her! 😳 Music by Roshan and lyrics by Kidar Sharma, this movie has fabulous songs.

This song does flow like a conversation, but there is something so serene, so peaceful in the words of love spoken and the expressions that pass between them. He gently asks her where she is, as his heart remembers her and she replies she will be there whenever he calls for her with love. 'Ae Baby, Idhar Aa' from Love in Simla. Incidentally Sadhana and Joy Mukherjee's very first film. She's miffed that he's late for the special lunch she has cooked for him.He's eager to make amends by doing anything she commands.For all of that, he barely gets a bite of the jalebi mentioned in the song.
