Also Shweta married young.. If she now wants to get a new outlook to life, now that her kids don't really need her, its an impressive idea.. Age should never be a barrier to try out something new.. She is willing to do something instead of settling in her comfort zone.. In my opinion thats commendable

Career is fine but at least she should have some talent. Have a look at her Girl Power sweatshirts. Wonder what genius level creativity went into that that she had a launch and everything. If AB and Ash were not promoting her, those things she's supposedly designed would be sold as raste ka maal saste mein.

Even Anushka had more creatitvity into sourcing her NUSH clothes from China.

I don't think their issues are jealousy at all. If Shweta really cared to become an actress she would have encouraged her daughter to join Bollywood. I actually read somewhere that she convinced her daughter not to become an actress and that's why she's concentrating on marketing now.

The whole family was very HSSH in the beginning of AbhiAsh marriage. From my observation something changed after Aaradhya was born. Maybe Jaya wanted more input into raising the little girl and Ash said no. These things happen in most joint families. I'm sure Shweta moving into the house changed things too. AB sr. And Jaya doted on Ash because she had become their surrogate daughter while their own was in Delhi. But now with Shweta back in Mumbai they're putting all their love and affection that way specially since her married life and "her home in the traditional sense is basically down the crapper. Ash was OK with the joint family life thinking it was just her husband's parents, but now it's his sister and her children too and frankly seems very unfair to Ash too. So ...

Shweta and Ash seem very on and off. I've seen them holding hands and having a normal sisterly interactions too. So if they ignore each other at other times it's probably just two adult family members getting on each others nerves. Also Shweta grew up in Bollywood and KJo was probably her playmate at different birthday parties and gatherings. She's always been much much closer to KJo than Ash and Kajol is a lot of other people. At the same time inviting and then posing with Karishma at her event was unnecessary and disrespectful to Ash and Abhishek.

No saints or devils in this scenario. Just family members who purposely or inadvertently pushing each other's buttons.

Bachchans are weird.. Amitabh and Abhi pose with Salman normally... Aish poses with Rekha normally.. Shweta poses with Karishma normally😆

And hasn't this forum time and again reminded us of how Aish was blacklisted from BW for standing against Khan and many including Shah ignored her.. It was Bachchan surname that then came to her rescue during that time.. So if she can benefit from the surname, why can't Shweta

She was still doing relatively well being blacklisted. She laid the foundation of stepping into Hollywood. Bride and Prejudice made more then three times it's cost before the 100 crore club began. It actually got three to four star reviews too. But sources in Bollywood tried to make it looks like a failure. She did experimental roles in Chocker Bali and Raincoat, which got her plenty of acclaim. Again she even won a critics best actress award for one of them. Provoked did something similar. Khakee did well too. She was never jobless during that time frame. I don't think the Bacchan surname that did nothing but hurt Abhishek saved Aish. She never needed saving.

Not quite. Ash definitely went through a phase of being shut out and blackballed by big names but by the time her and Abhishek started dating that was over. As a matter of fact and Abhisbek started dating on a movie set. I don't know when things changed for her. Maybe Devdas. Maybe her getting L'Oreal and exposure at Cannes and Bride and Prjudice. Maybe her near fatal accident on the set of Khakee. But by the time she got with Abhishek she was back on track. Honestly the Bachchan last name hasn't done a whole lot for her if anything at all.

Its not about being jobless.. Rather being a flop.. Big names were not coming to her and lets face it, she would not have survived with Raincoats and Chocker balis especially with her average acting.. I don't think Bachchan surname made her who she is but it did pull her up when she needed a boost

Both Khakee and B&P were hits. As I said critical acclaim should account to. She was neither jobless or a flop. Even Kareena and Rani had fair share of flops. No one calls them flop actresses do they ?
