Well again based on the trailer.

But it was not caricaturish according to me or a lot of people. Serious scenes were not there in the trailer much.

If you did not know...maybe you should have..considering she specifically mentioned she knew it was a reaponse to what she said earlier.

then u shud hav made it clear that this thread was only for you and astha, coz i thought this thread was for everyone to comment on rk's performance as sanju, i had no intention of jumping the gun or butting in, i was just replying to your first post

Well, a trailer is parts of the film or is it not? That is how you decide if you want to watch the movie. I really thought his acting wasn't very sincere and cartoonish. Yes, my opinion is based on the trailer but I'm anyway not trying to disprove anybody else's opinion who might've watched the movie and liked it.

Anyway seems like you missed the point about hater and stan name calling. Nevermind.

@astha: teasar was meant to be a funny introduction to the Sanju, to create positive buzz about it being a comic movie, as the movie ironically quite dark compared to anything Hirani has done till now.
While yes movie had many comic moments, as any Hirani movie does.

Anyways the best Sanju impersonator is Sanket Bhosle, that guy has eaten, drank and breathes Sanjay Dutt😆

Even others are commenting zara. They dont seem to be judging me based on what astha wrote. You did. Only you.

This thread was not for me and astha. Is this a regular practice of yours...assuming and writing some thing out of the blue?

arey i'm not assuming, you wrote yourself that those that find the performance caricaturish must be people who dislike rk, you wrote it so how can i be assuming things?

and you wrote yourself to me that i was butting in just because i commented on this thread and that i shud hav known it was a reply to astha

i am not trying to judge you, i am just saying its not fair to assume those who didn't like the performance are just unnecessarily hating on rk, yes there are some who will be haters but not everyone is

Of course a trailer decides whether you want to watch or not. Your personal choice.

But judging an entire performance based on 2 minute trailer is not right.

Trust me i know what a stan is. And a hater. And yes...wanted to say that your post seemed like you probably are not a hater at all. Then i got embroiled with some other member who is very fast at typing.I was too quick to judge you on that. Maybe its a hangup of twitter fan wars. Sorry about that.

Ranbir has his hits and misses.
Hits: Tamasha (loved his performance in this movie the most), Wake Up Sid, Rockstar, Rocket Singh, even Rajneeti
Didn't care much for YJHD (just enjoyed the Farooque Sheikh scenes) or Roy. He was OK in ADHM but KJo was more to blame cuz of bad screenplay etc.
Nice time pass movies: Anjaana Anjaani, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Ajab Prem
Misses: besharam and Bombay Velvet. Probably the only 2 movies he could have avoided doing. Also everyone praises Barfi but I didn't enjoy it, thought PC was great in it tho.
