She can hang out with her friends, go on vacations and raise her kids exactly how she wants. She has no overbearing in-laws meddling in her life or telling her what to do or harassing her the way a lot of Indian women do.

Aishwarya is more traditional and able to deal with all that. Everything worked out okay for all sides.

Whatever Babita thought came true anyway. Abhishek is still under his father's shadow, never really made anything of himself and still lives with his parents and will never be his own man. He will always have to rely on his family the same way Randhir Kapoor had to.

@bold: The other day Ash was saying in an interview with Masand that she refused Happy New Year because Abhi was already cast and there are certain expectations from her and Abhi as a couple, after Guru and Raavan, people are anticipating what they will do next. So, in other words, she didn't want to be the lead where Abhi was a sidekick. I hate it when women have to hold back because of their husbands' incompetency. Abhi should've been the one to back out or should've been man enough to take the criticism/ mocking. Ash deserved much better than Abhi in terms of...everything.

Is this the usual Quora copied opinion of TM's or is it his original assholic one ? 🤔. Sexist idiot whoever it is.
In this day and age of KJO led starkids nepotism it is hard to imagine even Karishma from the great Kapoor family had to face the casting couch. But that story has been around for too long to not be believable despite the fantasy perpetrated by Karishma herself that the myth "Kapoor babus do not work" is just that and point to Shashi and Shammi wives. Perhaps only Raj Kapoor was a sexist asshole then but then it does not deviate from the narrative known. He was a great filmmaker, horrible human.

Karishma was an obedient girl who paid the price for her mother's greed. But she seems like a good mother and a better human than many BW folks. For one she shows up at every launch of a useless Jain when the Kapoor name did not protect her. She had to settle for a bad husband.

As for Abhi, he needs to get his shit together. He needs to do something of his own instead of sitting on borrowed glory and whining.

I don't know it seems like saying women slept with x,y, and z for roles/influence/money is an easy way to diminish and disgrace a woman. It may or may not be true - I have no idea. I feel the same about the other actresses especially when accused of po*n for example. How could a famous BW actress keep it off the internet if she had ever been in a po*n movie? There are topless photos of the Duchess of Cambridge on the Internet, if she can't prevent it how can anyone?

I think u are about that catty actress. It was her sisters who had acted in po*n and they got viral somewhere around 2010/2011 when most Indians weren't using internet.
