If Mahesh Bhatt launched Alia and gave her lead roles in all his movies it would be usual for BW

But a top producer/director like KJo using all his clout to make Alia the top heroine by snatching opportunities from others, by handing her plum roles, best scripts and then audience being fooled into thinking shes Meryl Streep, which she is NOT...that is what is objectionable

Nah... Aish might be an below average actor but she is much more popular and loved then Alia ever will be. Aish has made a name for herself on her own merit which Alia unfortunately can't say.
20 years from now people might not remeber Alia but they will never forget Aishwariya rai.
She's going down in history like Madhubala minakumari etc. people might not know what movies they've done but they sure are famous for how beautiful and graceful they were. 😳

yes a little bit, connections play a role. But i have never seen it to the extent it has been with alia. lobbying is huge, kwk publciity...putting contemporaries down, strong influence etc. actually so much. it becomes immorale and it is cheating your way up to success
