Exactly. I was thinking the same. His actual comeback was vaastav but Hirani had to give credit to his movie. Hirani wasn't even happy to cast Sanju as he wanted srk but after the film released he thanked god ke bachgaye 😆

And no 3.5hrs would have still worked given it was engaging enough and Hirani can make that. If k3g can be a blockbuster with runtime of 3.5hrs with kjo directing it then so can be this. Even 3i was close to 3hrs and see how well that did.

there's enough material to make it engaging

Just watched #Sunju

Cried through many of the scenes.

#RanbirKapoor is so good. I was bowled over by the performance.

I didn't think anyone could copy the hero of our generation #Sunju baba but the transformation & immersion in the role was flawless. #RanbirKapoor is undoubtedly the most talented actor of this generation.
