I loved the movie. I had no intention to watch it. But I am glad I watched it. It was a pleasant surprise. Full review later.

Just came out of the movie...Loved it !

Very well made and executed movie...Loved John in the movie...He can totally overshadow Akshay in such roles.

This movie needed to be made and shown to audience... I seriously hope they make it tax free in India.

just one time watch. an average affair for me. john boy sincere act, must say in top form in few scenes, ,and looks juicy...as usual.

i did not like actress Diana, ahh...bekaar actress, unconvincing!!

movie tacky few places...but must say, 2nd half was much better, thank god...overall...just ok movie ...damn i so wanted to like , love this movie...but nah...did not work for me.

oh well...whatever..

it's a really good movie. Well made and very close to reality. India not only tested Atom bombs here but also fooled whole world. CIA was fooled. Only two things that I remember from this incident directly at that time were that after this test price of onions skyrocketed. At that time 1kg per Rs 75 was too much but people endured becoz of this test.

Second thing Bill Clintons' visit 2 years after this test which nearly normalized everything after the sanctions.

They made a good movie. Didn't put as much dramatics as I got from trailer. They didn't make hero who can do anything like beating villains. He couldn't beat that ISI agent which was realistic because he was an ex-IAS officer not military or agent.

Also they didn't go very technical. Made people understand things about blind spots and all that. As an Indian, it was a proud moment, so I felt good watching it on big screen. They kept Dr. Kalam in background but gave him proper credit in the end with real pics. I loved the tidbits AB Vajpeyi- my fav PM.

John did a good job. Diana Penty was a little miscast but it was alright. A very good one time watch. I really want it to a hit. I wish Indian audience do watch this movie just to know how much efforts people put in these things to make India what it is now.

We did tested one atom bomb in 1974. But it was not enough because our tech was not self made at that time. We used Canada for that. In 1998 though, it was show of power which was necessary at that time due to political instability for 2-3 years. Not just that, fooling CIA itself was a big achievement at that time. People should know the efforts done for all this.

saw the movie. it was watchable, the end will make you forget the shortcomings. still i would say the movie was very much on surface. it looked like a childs play. the whole plan by a single person and execution. it required more detalining, especially a plot like this requires more power and detailing. neverthless a good attempt.

john did extremely well and his crying in the end gave patriot goosebumps to me.

diana and all supporting actors did well. the actress who played johns wife was effective. well acted and good screen presence.

overall worth spending time if you have no better plans.

hats off john investing money on what you believe. great risk taker. appreciate.
