Bravo For John

May 26, 2018

There are some people who lose faith in their films when they encounter many hurdles. But actor-turned-producer John Abraham should be commended for standing by his film, Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran as it cleared one obstacle after other. The actor had complete faith in his project and perhaps that's why it is doing wonders at the box office.

Abraham believed in the script he had and the film he had created around it. He made sure the movie made it to the big screen and had a smooth release. The film started on a great note on Friday, May 25 and collections are expected to grow due to strong word-of-mouth. Kudos to John!

Cost of Parmanu will dent it's Verdict... Delay in release has increased the budget, I really hope if not Clean Hit, at least John & his co-producers recover the money invested in film, hope they can make profit out of it also. AVERAGE is looking the best verdict for it now unless from monday onwards WOM Spread like fire.

John Abraham Deserves A Salute For Parmanu- The Story Of Pokhran!

There is indeed a new John Abraham that you see in Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran and the attempt is pretty much visible.

May 27, 2018

Parmanu- The Story Of Pokhran: Stiff', wooden', non-actor' These have traditionally been some of the words attached to John Abraham in a career innings that has lasted more than a decade and a half already. However, it is surprising that there are some who are still choosing to call out such words when John Abraham has come up with an impressive and a very noble Parmanu- The Story Of Pokhran.

This is one film that not just the actor or those associated with it would be proud of but also audiences who choose to watch it in theaters. Recreation of a real life tale that made India proud way back in 1998, this Abhishek Sharma directed film is a prestigious piece of work that has been ably supported by John, both as an actor and as a producer.

John Abraham deserves a salute for Parmanu The Pokhran Story

In my view, John has given a truly restrained performance with the film which actually had good scope to turn filmy. However, you can see right from the beginning that John knew it was time to let go of the heroic histrionics and settle down with realism.

This is the reason why when he makes his entry into the boardroom of the PMO as a bureaucrat, you know he means business. In a suited-booted avtar and a moustache to add, John looks every bit a man in his early 40s. Ditto when a turn in his life brings him to the brink of breaking down, before his new stint as a civil services coach presents him in a new avtar altogether.

Of course, you get to see John Abraham as John Abraham when he embarks on to Mission Parmanu'. However, even as Krishna of this mega mission, he ensures that his bulging biceps are hidden, a hint of rounded up belly is a bit visible in an Army uniform while all he does is being defensive instead of offensive when an ISI operative threatens him with a pistol.

Basically, he looks John Abraham, but doesn't act like one, and this is where the biggest win is!

There is indeed a new John Abraham that you see in Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran and the attempt is pretty much visible. As an actor and a perform, he does well and so is the case in his role as a producer too where he ensures that the film gets the right pitching, platform and setting so that it reaches out to the right audience segment.

John Abraham deserves a salute. Let's give the man credit, where it is indeed due!

I really want people to see film, if they will its obvious they will be pleasantly surprised!
The audience for John's films are increasing, the content which he proposes are working... The good will will increase, eventually his films will start doing well. The films like these need time on BO, but alas the screens will get reduced within week for a commercial viable movie that's how it works. The

I too want John to have a superhit movie with profits, but it will come later. If all appreciation comes by his side I am more than happy :)

Loved what joginder tuteja had to say

John has always been underrated
Even in films like kabul express and NewYork he was awesome
Films like Jism, Paap, Dostana made people go weak on their knees seeing his aphrodisiac persona.
Even his last film dishoom was Hit
People conveniently forget evrything and seems a lobby is working hard against him.
People who started with him like Tushhar, Abhishek, Vivek have almost non exixtent careers,He has survived
Even Hrithik had a difficult time. His forthcomin releases are not most awaited fims, But evryone has a field day pulling John down

Iam really praying that the film suceeds.
I dont understand if people are going to re watch Raazi again in its 3rd week contributing 4 cr on saturday, why cant they also watch Parmanu in huge numbers?

One should watch parmanu for its gripping story even if one is not a john fan

Thats fantastic news

Hope before big releases ,Parmanu is able to recover its costs
If audience can make Raazi a 100 crore film due to its awseome story why cant audience do the same for Parmanu? Just because it has no current generation top star?
If story is prime factor then both raazi and parmanu are equally good
so why the step motherly treatment to parmanu, i wonder.

Indian audiences amaze me
They will contribute in huge numbers for that slang festival movie veere di wedding, but not for a good subject like parmanu. And then its the audience who cries we dont get good films. When its time to support good content they dont in large numbers

Don't get disheartened.
Also, see how wonderful Joginder Tuteja talks about John and the movie.
of course, it will be superb for it to become a hit- maybe a lot more promo on twitter and TV is needed. Maybe John can go to some shows or radio stations?

In the end, he has impressed many with his latest releases- which is the positive about this.
Now all he needs is to use some promo to increase the buzz and have a good hold on Monday...then the movie can really take off.
When I watched him talk about Vicky Donor it made me feel that same will happen with Parmanu..as in, people will get good WOM and start flocking theatres after a few days. Let's hope this happens👍🏼
