Raazi- Yami, she looks like a Kashmiri Girl

I have seen both Kaabil and Vicky Donor, not yet convinced with her for something like Raazi.
She is decent, but nothing exceptional like Kangu or Vidya.
And has not done thing worthy yet to be considered better than Alia when it comes to acting.

Raazi, highway or any other movies above i cannot think of anyone other than alia doing them.

Kaabil had a poorly written role for Yami first of all, That movie was all about Hrithik.
And nobody over hyped Alia for Dulhania series or Shandaar or K&S. She got praised for deserving performances like 2states, Highway, Udta Punjab, Dear Zindagi and now Raazi.

Anushka & Deepika could have done all of those roles with ease... Haven't seen Raazi but Highway and Dear Zindagi were all such patchy performances 😛

@HKP: Although Shweta Tripathi is a nice alternative(although I don't think anyone can capture the child-like innocence), even though she does look not like a Kashmiri, but she looks so young even though she is 32 and she is an excellent actress.

with Yami, we are changing the age...with Alia, they have changed the ethnicity...or region... (dont know the exact word) ...


about the acting part... i dont find her that bad...with a good director maybe she'll shine...
