I don't think Jackie was poor, middle class maybe. It's all relative. Heard his interviews where he said he had a lot of rich friends. He used to hang out at their bungalows and pools and stuff.

Oh and on the Shettys, I think Shilpa Shetty was also from a reasonably well-off family. Aren't her parents numerologists or something?

Also he keeps saying how he's a baniya and making money is like sleight of hand for him.

Also again Akshay's case is relative too I guess. Not a lot of middle class people would've had a tv in the 80s I guess.

Want to know about Mithun. \One grandma in Kolkata said she used to buy veggies from him but she was a big time fibber so I don't know.

He lived like a middle class man until Lagaan I think. Imo he still lives & acts very middle class simple person and considering how much money his films are making he is still nowhere close to the other Khans or many other stars. Yes his uncle was well off because he had hit films but his dad was a small time producer I think.

That was when Shilpa hit fame that they procured all this. They were very normal middle-class before her fame. I feel like that's another reason why they started all this because I remember Shilpa saying a few years ago in an IV that her biggest fear is not being able to afford the best medical treatment for her family.

Yes to the last 2, but not exactly Juhi. She led a fairly upper-middle class lifestyle before fame too. Father was an IRS officer & mother was high-up in the Taj hotel chain, that's how her mother came to know about Jay Mehta & changed Juhi's life, lol.
