Hope the story is channged and not follow the orginal which is one of the trashiest film made in India.

The movie was poorly edited, the main character's grandma had corny dialogues, the heroine had minimal dialogues, the hero's unending cycle of poor decisions was tiring to watch (the movie should have been at least half an hour shorter, and I am being generous) , and there were quite a few things in the movie that just struck a wrong note with me. Like, it ended up being hypocritical, unrealistic, preachy on some levels (though, it looked like the aim was to not be any of those things)

The USP of movie is Vijay's acting and little moments of humor (lot of which is specific to Telugu milieu) and some gentler poignant scenes.

The key here will be to adapt it well in hindi and cut all the flab. Else, it will be another overwrought devdas adaptation - only this time with a guy who is a genius medical.
